RE [redacted] Customer bought a used vehicle AS-IS without a warranty from us. We recomended a warranty at time of purchace but, they declined. Something broke after 1000 miles . We offered some goodwill to finish fixing it...

even though it was their responsibility but, customer started yelling and demanding money instead. We withdrawal our earlier goodwill assistance offer to fix. We will not buy vehicle back . Fixing vehicle is customers responsibility. Thank You

Finding a unknown problem doesn't exempt the as-is agreement as it is the reason for it in the first place. We do not tamper or hide anything with our vehicles. Any work done by the previous owner is sold as-is. We allow all of our vehicles to be tested and inspected beforehand.

responsibility of any vehicle owner, the removal of the check engine light prior to sales being made is unlawful and dishonest. The check engine light, had it been present, would have unveiled a multitude of issues upon a test drive. However, because the insturunment panel had been tampered with, and the light itself removed, such multitudes of issues were well hidden. While the vehicle is not under warranty, that does not mean that such actions are by any means legal in the sales of said vehicle.

The customer was sold as-is no warranty. There is no remaining warranty from us, the manufacturer or the previous owner. Any maintenance or repair is the customer's responsibility.

Review: Hello! I purchased a 2001 Audi Alldrive from Hot Wheels and Deals in Garden City, Idaho in November 2014. I purchased the car as is, with no warranty. A day after I purchased the car, the check engine light appeared and I took the car to my local Auto Zone to have the code ran. It came back with a Torque Converter problem within the Transmission. I called the auto dealer the next day to discuss the issue with them, eventhough I purchased the car "as-is". I told him who I was and what I had purchased and I was told he used the car all summer long with the check engine light on. He said the check engine light would come on and turn off all the time. I would have never purchased the car knowing that in the first place. They reset the check engine light and sold the car on their lot. I would really like to see my money refunded and I will return the car. This was a dishonest act on part of the car dealer, resulting in bad business.Desired Settlement: I will return the car and I am requesting ALL my money refunded.
