In response to the current complaint, there were two options offered to the student
On 2/4/an email was received with a doctor's noteThe doctor's note advises that the student's spine should not be in a prolonged
flexed positionAnd they advised to avoid yoga for monthsWhen asked for more information, it was not given
One of the philosophies at the studio is to use yoga as yoga therapy to help heal the spineWhich is why the first option was to work with the student one-on-one to see if there were any adjustments to the yoga postures to help her injury, ie alignment, form, depth, etc
When the student was not interested in working with the injury, a month freeze on the year package was proposedThe student was and still is unsatisfied with this optionHowever, in the studio waiver, which the student did sign on 1/2013, it states "The tuition and registration fees paid hereafter are non-refundableAll memberships are non-refundable, non-extendable, and non-transferable and may not be used by a third partyClass passes are valid for the amount of time specified." (a copy of the signed waiver can be emailed, if needed.) Considering the studio policy, a month freeze is more than fair
After the initial correspondence with the student, another option came upOption would be to prorate the months toward the original package and put the rest onto the student's studio account, which this money can be used towards anything, such as a drfor her or her spouse, etc

I am very sorry the consumer does not want to compromiseHot Yoga Twinsburg has offered three separate solutions to this consumer which are more than fair compensation considering the studio's policy and the client's injury
The Studio's policy clearly states in the Student Waiver, "the tuition and registration fees paid hereafter are non-refundable"Hereafter literally means "from now on", no matter if a package is purchased the same day as the waiver is signed or years later, the studio's policy is as such
Hot Yoga Twinsburg wants to help the consumer, however the consumer is, at present, unwilling to compromiseHow can we move forward?
