[redacted] [redacted] I am responding to the letter date 07/25/concerning work performed for [redacted] The work performed was clearly spelled out on our sales agreement and work was performed as contractedThe customer complained that we failed to provide can light covers over his existing can lights and this create a fire hazardWe did not include covers in our quoteLights were IC RATED (INSULATION CONTACT) and do not require can light coversCustomer received multiple quotes from other contractorsAt least one of the other quotes had included can coversThis would have been an unnecessary cost to the homeowner and created confusion as to what work was included in our agreementI had conversations with customer offering the following:-Inspect the lighlights are IC Rated we would do nothing and he would pay his invoilights were not IC rated we would install covers and re blow insulation that was disturbed.A site visit was made to customers home to verify that lights were IC ratedPicture conclude the lights were in fact IC rated and presented to the customerCustomer paid account as agreed In conclusion I believe that customer had multiple bids for this job and one of the representative gave him assumed information, based on the age of the home, that the lights were not IC rated which if true would require light covers. The salesman from [redacted] has years of insulation experience the install crew have been with us for plus yearsWe knew the lights were rated but I understand the concern of the customer.I hope he is satisfied with the job we performedThank You, [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]

complained that we failed to provide can light covers over his existing can lights and this create a fire hazard.1. We did not include covers in our quote.2. Lights were IC RATED (INSULATION CONTACT) and do not require can light covers.3. Customer received multiple quotes from other contractors. At least one of the other quotes had included can covers. This would have been an unnecessary cost to the homeowner and created confusion as to what work was included in our agreement. I had conversations with customer offering the following:-Inspect the lights-If lights are IC Rated we would do nothing and he would pay his invoice-If lights were not IC rated we would install covers and re blow insulation that was disturbed.A site visit was made to customers home to verify that lights were IC rated. Picture conclude the lights were in fact IC rated and presented to the customer.4. Customer paid account as agreed. In conclusion I believe that customer had multiple bids for this job and one of the representative gave him assumed information, based on the age of the home, that the lights were not IC rated which if true would require light covers. The salesman from [redacted] has 24 years of insulation experience the install crew have been with us for 10 plus years. We knew the lights were rated but I understand the concern of the customer.I hope he is satisfied with the job we performed. Thank You,[redacted] [redacted]
