Review: My husband and I checked into this hotel 10/**/2014 and stayed until 10/**/2014. Upon leaving we had SIGNIFICANT bed bug bites. Because we were rushing to catch our flight home, I decided to call and address it once we got home. When I called the hotel and spoke with [redacted] the [redacted], she became very loud and rude, asking how did I know I got the bites from there and why didnt I say anything while I was there? I tried to explain to her that these bumps did not pop up until my 2nd night there and I didnt want to believe that I was staying in such a filthy hotel so I attributed the bites to maybe being outside until check out day when my husband showed me that he had been bitten up just as much if not more than me!!!! She then proceeded to tell me that they have had several guests stay in that room since we left with no complaints.. once I realized I was getting no where with her I requested to speak to her [redacted], who was just as rude. He was not helpful at all and basically questioned me for calling them, like how dare me call and say they had bed bugs!!! we spent $1100 at this hotel and refuse to be treated like our concerns werent valid. When I called them I really just wanted to make them aware of the situation and was hoping for at least some type of acknowledgement , an apology and possibly some type of confirmation that they would fix it.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from BOTH [redacted]s [redacted] and [redacted] for their outright lack of customer service skills. I would also suggest some type of remediation or re training for these so called [redacted]s. The customer should always feel like their concerns are being taken seriously and are worth investigating. When we got back to California my husband and I both had to go to the Doctor and confirm it was bed bugs and not [redacted] or something more serious. I think we should be refunded a portion of the monies spent in their dump of a hotel. They were quick to charge us more for checking out 30 mins late and smoking in the room( which we did NOT), but had no cares and did everything short of laughing in our faces when it came to the negligence and unsanitary conditions of their property. We spent just as much money once we returned on medications and doctors visits for Bug Bites recieved at our stay at this hotel.
