This is in regards to complaint [redacted]. Hotrod Upholstery###-###-####[redacted] had hired me to do a interior in his 1956 olds wagen on 9/1/15. He delivered some of the interior such as seat and several months later door panels. Mr [redacted] ask if I could do the interior in his garage. I...

agreed . Mr [redacted] had the Carpet and headliner all ready he had purchased prior to me. The deal was I could only work in his shop on Tuesday and thursdays. This ended up being a problem hitting and missing with schedules. Also mr [redacted] brought a electric seat bottom that wasn’t working. The parts were pricy so I had a guy rebuild and clean up the parts and got it working. We would get very busy and would forget about me [redacted]s parts there and several months had went by and he stopped to check on it. I said we had forgotten and I pulled parts out that week and started them. I need to make trips back in forth for measurements etc. about 4 months ago mr [redacted] gave me a key to his garage. I met him there to install the headliner he purchased. Went to install and did not fit. Wrong one. Sense the car was fabricated to a Oldsmobile I said I’ll make the headliner. I ordered material in and. Made it. I also needed some body pieces that I made up to hold the headliner and wind lace. Headliner , wind lace, front door panels and Carpet have been installed sense this letter in which I did this prior to knowledge of this letter. I tried to contact mr [redacted] 2 time with no return call regarding if he had a piece. Then I received-this letter. Few days went by and mr [redacted] return my call. We spoke and I had told him what was done and said I received the letter. We spoke on what I needed and what I had done. Mr [redacted] is a very nice guy. I’m sure we will resolve this in a timely manor. I told mr [redacted] I’d not charge for rebuild seat devise and for custom making the headliner. (For the delay on this job). I’ve been in business 34 years and have done hundreds of jobs with no complaints. This is my very first to Revdex.com.
