Review: On Friday Oct 10th 2014 I went and purchased a car from them and payed cash for the car. I drove the car home and when I went to work that evening the water pump went out, or so I was told. They asked me to put water in the car and drive it back to their lot. I did not want to because I did not want to do further damage to the car. It sat in the parking lot at work until Monday Oct 13th 2014 when they picked it up. I was told that they would pick it up with the rollback. On Monday they called me to let me know the repair was done and I drove to work and back. (A total of 30 miles give or take) on Tuesday Oct 14th 2014 I drove the car about 10 miles to get to try to get to work and the motor locked up. The temperature gauge never read the motor as hot until we tried to crank the car again. We immediately called Hott Wheels and they were not open so they told us to bring the key by Wednesday morning so that they could pick it up and see what was wrong with it. We went to drop the keys off Wednesday morning and were told their rollback was messed up so they would have us show them where the car was so that they could have it moved by someone with trailer. We had to wait until Friday Oct 17th to go back by there to see about another car. We were told that he would have a car we could swap out evenly or he would work out payments on one of the others they had that were a few hundred dollars in difference. They also informed us that they had a no money back policy. So we were not getting our money back. When we arrived Friday morning I was told that before I could get any other car I had to go pay $85 for the title of the previous car to be put in my name so that they would be able to do the paper work to the other car. Money that I was not going to be refunded for. After going to the DMV I went back to have the paperwork done on the other car after signing a bunch of the papers I was then told that I still owed $250 on the car I was to receive in place of the other that had broke down. I asked what happened to it being an even swap and was told that they said they would try to keep it as close as possible. The odometer and speedometer on the replacement car doesn't work and requires [redacted] replacement part. So we have no idea how many miles is actually on the car. And I've got to pay for taxes title and tags to be put it my name this month as well as a car payment.Desired Settlement: I did not want the car they stuck me in. I want my money back to go elsewhere(including taxes and title fee on the other car). I do not trust the people at this lot at this point and I have 2 small children that have to ride in this vehicle.

ln response to the compaint by [redacted]:

The 2003 malibu was purchased with a AS-IS-WARRANTY

signed by her. She called to say the car was leaking water,

and then her father called back and sa¡d it was the water

pump. I didn't have to do anything, but to try to help her out,

I replaced the water pump with no charge. I told her to keep

a check on the water, oil, and gauges to make sure it didn't

get hot. If she turn the key on after the car shut off and it went

straight to hot, it had to have gotten hot. I let her choose

another vehicle and the price was $200.00 more. She had

other cars to choose from but she choose the 2002 kia.

She was told the odometer and speedometer did not work.

Dmv requires that sales tax and title to be paid when

vehicles are purchased. She had to get the malibu put

in her name before I could trade with her on the 2002 kia.

Thank You,
