Complaint: [redacted] Dear [redacted] ,I am writing in reply to the business owners latest message.I deny having surfed porn sites at this establishmentI also deny having any infatuation with [redacted] ***; I had to Google the name to find out who the owner was referring toAlthough I admit to finding the barista attractive, nothing untoward happenedI am in a happy relationship with a wonderful woman and would like to keep it that way!The accusation of surfing porn is just a way to assassinate my characterThere has been NO police involvement; if you run a background check on me you will find it comes back clean.It seems to me the owner, Lora, is clutching at straws for the sake of 'ratings'I trust the Revdex.com with it's ratings of businesses and inclusion of customer satisfaction in those ratings.I sincerely hope that this incident will help Hotwire improve it's customer service experience and achieve the highest ratings.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it is 100% untrue MsS [redacted] response & expressions of me victimizing her business are untrue, self-serving and disingenuousThe truth is, I am the victim, not Hotwire I will respond now to each lie and accusation leveled at me by MsS***:- (1) Firstly, the day the incident occurred was my second time ever in this establishmentI vehemently deny the theft accusation and I NEVER used their computers for hours at a timeEach visit I had spent in access of $5, and used my iPhone to access the Web; accusing me of stealing and not observing their computer policy is just to discredit me (2) Secondly, I did not act belligerent towards anyone at any timeIn fact, it was me that was threatened! MsS [redacted] was not present so is not a credible witness to what actually happened Here is what actually happened: After paying for my drink & ham croissant, the rude barista - whose name begins with T - said I could not use the computers (they advertise minutes with each purchase?)I asked why not and she accused me of having surfed porn sites on a prior visit! I denied this outrageous accusation and just went sat down quietly at the one table without a computerminutes later, men (one bald, thug looking man, the other was a scrawny, angry man) entered and approached me in a very threatening manner and said words to the effect “if you don’t leave right now we will make you, and we will hurt you if you ever come back here!” Utterly shocked and scared, I leftA witness had seen this harassment and had called the police, so I waited inside the post office (next door) for them to arriveThe Seattle PD quickly realized that I was the innocent one, and told me I should just not go to Hotwire and should just go home FYI, I have also filed a case with the Office for Civil Rights, based on discriminationMy attorney and witness say I have a strong case of discrimination based on my national originUnless You convince me otherwise, I will pursue this matter under the discrimination and harassment federal and state laws, due to the pain and humiliation your business had caused me Sincerely, [redacted] ***

COMPLAINT: [redacted] I'm writing in response the complaint filed against my company, Hotwire Online CoffeehouseMr [redacted] was removed from my business as he was not only frightening my staff by being belligerent, adversely affecting the flow of business, but also has a history of theft from my establishmentHe has been observed entering my business, purchasing a cup of water for cents then using our desktop computers for hours at a timeOur policies clearly states a customer receives minutes of free internet usage on our desktops with a beverage purchaseAfter minutes, the cost to use our computers is cents per minuteMr [redacted] has not abided by our stated policiesHe has purchased cups of water, then used the computer for far over his allotted timeWe have addressed this with him and still he refuses to pay the allotted amount of money for using our desktop computersMr [redacted] is not allowed to return to my business because: He frightens my staff, therefore creating a hostile work environmentHe does not pay for his computer usage when askedHe raises his voice to my customers who were attempting to defuse his outburstsHe damaged my business reputation by posting reviews on Yelp and GoogleHe has slandered my business name and mine in our communityAny additional trespassing or contact will result in further police action

I will respond now to each lie and accusation leveled at me by Ms. S[redacted]:-

establishment. He has been observed entering my business, purchasing a cup of water for 25 cents then using our desktop computers for hours at a time. Our policies clearly states a customer receives 15 minutes of free internet usage on our desktops with a beverage purchase. After 15 minutes, the cost to use our computers is 10 cents per minute. Mr. [redacted] has not abided by our stated policies. He has purchased cups of water, then used the computer for far over his allotted time. We have addressed this with him and still he refuses to pay the allotted amount of money for using our desktop computers. Mr. [redacted] is not allowed to return to my business because: 1. He frightens my staff, therefore creating a hostile work environment. 2. He does not pay for his computer usage when asked. 3. He raises his voice to my customers who were attempting to defuse his outbursts. 4. He damaged my business reputation by posting false reviews on Yelp and Google. 5. He has slandered my business name and mine in our community. Any additional trespassing or contact will result in further police action.

Thanks so much for the email.  The reason I didn’t respond was for the simple fact this particular customer has a history with police involvement and surfing for pornographic images on our desktop computers (we’re an Internet café). 
 
I am concerned a continued dialog will only elevate this issued.  In addition, he has a known obsession with [redacted].  The staff member he complained about has a striking resemblance to the pop star.  She has expressed being very uncomfortable while he is in the business, he does attempt to engage her in conversation.  This results in a hostile workplace for the staff member, so my recourse was to remove him from the business (in addition to the images he was viewing).
 
Let me know if this email is sufficient to address the lack of response.  I honor the A rating the Revdex.com has given my business and would not want us to suffer with an A- result.
