Good value
For 24/7 unlimited access to infrared saunas and many workouts to choose from, it’s a no-brainer.
Yes, locations are run differently but they all offer amazing benefits and a unique fitness opportunity.

Hotworx Hudson Oaks
Trying to cancel my membership according to contract. come in cancel within 30 days and you will not be charged..
called today to let them know I would be coming in to cancel, an employee informed me that the “new policy” was to have permission from the owner to cancel a membership. Absurd policy that I never was informed of or signed off on and this violates the contract. I guess you screw around you’ll find out.

Terrible Customer Service Experience at HotWorx New Orleans: Avoid at all costs
I recently had a terrible experience at HotWorx New Orleans and wanted to share my feedback with others. On Wednesday, March 29th, I called to add a guest to my scheduled session at 6:45 pm. Unfortunately, the employee who answered the phone, Courtney, provided me with incorrect information about the studio's policies. Despite my frustration, I was willing to proceed with the session until the on-duty manager, Rachel, called me.

Rachel's attitude was incredibly rude, condescending, and defensive. She showed no concern for my satisfaction as a customer and made it abundantly clear that she did not care about my decision to cancel my membership. Her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, and I strongly urge HotWorx to address the actions of both Courtney and Rachel.

Overall, I had a terrible customer service experience at HotWorx New Orleans and would advise others to avoid this location. The level of service provided by the employees is not up to par with what I expect from a reputable establishment.

Corpus Christi HotWorks Owner - shady business tactics
Hi! I lived in Portland, TX for approx two months and at this time Nov and Dec 2022, the hotworks were not open however promoting "VIP" opportunity to join the gym, no paperwork just via the phone. I informed them that I may be moving however it had not been confirmed and I was interested however wanted to know the cancellation policy. They said just call us no problem and we will delete you account, not a big deal. So before the gym was even open and I had to move away from Texas, I notified them. Since they have opened two months ago now February 2023, they have been attempting and rolling over charges on an account that does not exist. The owner is a complete joke with no morals or ethics! I have shut off any transactions and attempted calling however the number seems to be out of order. DO NOT go to this gym in Corpus Christi the owner also owns a HotWorks in San Antonio. Worst experience to a gym and complete disregard to integrity. Gooo Texas!

Similar experience.
Gretna Nebraska location - If you want to join a gym that you can never get into during core gym hours, then join this one. If you want to go to a place that doesn't value you and is deceptive, go to this one, Hotworx, Gretna.

Let's start with the positive, the concept of the place is unique and it felt amazing to workout in a warm room, especially on brutally cold days. But unfortunately there are too many memberships granted to be able to work out during the usual busy gym times (mornings and early evenings).

Problem 1: There are 8 small rooms to use @ 2 people per room. I was told that was due to COVID or they would have 3 per room. I don't know how they would do 3 for the standing workouts
as it was a tight fit with 2.

Only 4 of the rooms offer classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Barre - again, note that's 2 people per room. When I signed up, it was December and I enjoyed a free month with the commitment/obligation of a 3 month contract. It seemed great. I could pretty much get in whenever I wanted to workout. But when January hit, I could never get a booking at the times I could go (I expected that in Jan being a life-long gym goer and knowing January is always like that. But I couldn't get in and I was paying 60 some dollars per month. Unfortunately, this continued into February and then March. They obviously oversell memberships because others I know that tried to work out there had the same problem.

Problem 2 - employees do not clean the saunas in between the work outs. You are supposed to clean the room before you leave but I observed people who didn't clean the room before they left so I had to clean the sauna before and after the workouts. People sweat in a sauna workout, a lot, so I found it a little concerning that there are no health codes that require them to clean in between sessions. (Think tanning beds that have the same issues and the business is required to clean in between sessions).

Problem 3. Beware - you will be told you have to make a 3 month commitment with the first month free. Not true and deceptive. I got December free, paid for January and Feb and knew I also was required to pay for March. I didn't want to go beyond that. So at the end of February, I walked into the facility and said I would like my membership to be cancelled at the end of March when my commitment was up. I was told by TWO employees who were working together that I wasn't allowed to give that notice in February. I had to wait until March. I then asked if I had to come on March 1st to cancel because my contract said you were required to give at least a 30 day notice. I was told by both employees that it didn't matter what day in March that I cancelled- that as long as I cancelled on ANY day in March, I wouldn't have to pay for April. I didn't think that sounded right so I said, "Are you sure, because I am willing to come in on March 1st and the contract says I need to give a longer notice. They said no, the owners weren't requiring that, they thought because of COVID. I asked again if they were sure and they said yes. I was reassured more than once by these two young , very sweet young ladies I may add, that I didn't need to worry. So I didn't go on March 1st as I thought I should. I went in on March 10th to cancel.

I was then told I had to pay for the month of April as well bc I didn't give 30 days notice in March. when I tried to explain to her what I was told (It was either the owner or the manager based on the response) she stated, "My employees would have never told you that." I was in disbelief bc it made me feel that she was accusing me of lying. I couldn't believe it because this is what I was told, more than once. She told me I must have called the wrong location and I said, "I came in person, it wasn't a phone call". She repeated that I was basically lying several times. It was unprofessional and rude and now I have to pay for another month because she couldn't honor the word of her employees. I don't thing that these employees had bad intentions, I think they gave me information they believed to be true. But I couldn't believe this lady at 2 50 pm on March 10th accused me of lying and wouldn't honor that I had already come in to cancel - twice.

I told her I would be leaving a bad review (AND TRUTHFUL) and her response was, "Go ahead!" So here it is y'all. Be warned. Also know that the classes are the same exact classes every single session so you really can't increase strength and I found the classes a little too easy. But that's not my main complaint.

I joined in July 2018, and attended the training session, unfortunately my job has moved me out of the Baton Rouge area shortly after I joined. I maintained the membership for a year, while NEVER setting foot in the facility and hoping my work circumstances would change. In August of 2019, I contacted the facility to cancel via phone and was informed I had to come in and sign a form, I explained it would not be possible and was told there was no other way to cancel. At that time, I asked to have a manger call me - no one called. In November, I attempted again to have the contract canceled or see if an email will suffice. I emailed the contact I have when I signed up as well as called and obtained the corporate phone number. I received a call from corporate explaining I am UNABLE to make a trip to Baton Rouge to sign forms to cancel, I was assured that the owner would contact me. December 2019 prior to Christmas I place a call to the corporate office AGAIN, since the Owner has yet to contact me. I have not received a return call, I also sent a Facebook message the first week of January as email, and phone calls have not been responded to.
Product_Or_Service: Gym membership

Desired Outcome

Contact by the Business I'd like the business to contact me and cancel my contract, and no longer withdraw funds from my account.
