it was stated by automotive associates that my distributor was the issue. That was supposed to be resolved the first time. It has continued to have the same issue since the first time my car stopped working. I've also had other mechanics confirm the distributor is still the issue. I do not understand how my car can still have the same issue that was supposed to be resolved in October. I do not feel comfortable or safe with automotive associates working on my car again. I feel the issue will be resolved when I get my refund so I may take my car to a more reliable mechanic.

We received your second letter about this matter and In order to speed up this process, we are going to email our reply's from this date forward.
We have no idea why [redacted] would not feel safe or comfortable with our company and have given her no reason to feel that way other than by not agreeing with her request for a refund which we have never offered since our business opened in 1978. We are here for only one reason, to give absolutely the best possible service and warranty everything we do under our normal operating procedures..
The distributor we used was a factory re-manufactured part purchased from a major reputable parts reseller here in [redacted] and it IS under warranty. The part in question contains electronics and these can become unusable through no fault of ours, but we still guarantee the parts and our labor and always do our utmost to provide only the very best for our customers.
[redacted] will NOT get a refund from Automotive Associates Ltd, LLC. We will be most happy to replace the defective part that we installed on her vehicle that operated as expected for almost 30 days and almost 1,000 miles before her first problem occurred after that initial repair.
We have apologized to Ms. [redacted] several times for her inconvenience and sincerely hope that this problem can be resolved to her ultimate satisfaction.
We will make this offer only once, If she will have her vehicle brought back to us by a local wrecker, we will absorb the wrecker fee and replace the distributor with a new remanufactured part at no charge and her part will still have a limited lifetime warranty at our facilities.
