Review: I hired House to Om Cleaners to DUST my small 850 square foot home. I ONLY wanted them to DUST. I paid them $170 for 3 company cleaners to come out and DUST my home for 9 hours total. I was very clear that I only wanted my home to be dusted. 3 cleaners came out on the arranged day and I left, leaving them to get to work. They apparently busied themselves with other work as NONE of my rooms were dusted, even though that is the ONLY request I made. Their website claims money back guarantee, however I requested my money back of owner [redacted], and he refused. I asked [redacted] for half my money back and owner [redacted] refused me again. On their website they claim to use green eco-friendly products, but they didn't they just used bleach. I have pets in my home and only want natural products. And they shouldn't have been using any product anyway as I only wanted my home dusted.They claim on their website to have well trained and experienced Cleaning Specials, who are well spoken. One of the cleaners didn't even speak English. They broke two of my items, they peeled paint off my shower wall. Insult to injury my television was on [redacted], a television channel I have NEVER watched so I assumed that that is what they were watching.The owner of H20 and his partner [redacted] were not alarmed at all by the damages and refused to reimburse me for repair. Their website also claims that "they respect the privacy of each customer" these perverts Violated MY Privacy and TOOK PICTURES of the interior of my home?? [redacted]s answer to why my home wasn't dusted as I'd requested, was that they "have a process" they follow. I told him I was the employer and I wanted done what I wanted done. He told me I was NOT the employer and they follow their thorough cleaning REGARDLESS of what the person paying requests???I paid for a job that was not done. I paid for 3 people to DUST, and remove cobwebs, in a small home, in 9 hours. I have a lot of mementos in my home and on my walls, so I knew it would take a long time to dust. But they didn't.Desired Settlement: I want the $170 I paid House 2 Om Cleaners refunded to me as they did NOT dust my house which is the only work I requested of them.I want $50 paid to me for repairs I had to make to the damage they did in my home.I want House 2 Om to be required to delete from their website the dishonest claims that they make that are entirely untrue.I want my complaint posted on your website so that the public does not suffer from these UNprofessionals.

Below you will find statements from the cleaners that were there May 24, 2014. Also, you will find pictures of some of what the cleaners had to deal with. You will also see the communications from [redacted] requesting a deep cleaning of her home, not just a dusting of her home. Along with her communications, you will see our confirmation email detailing that we were to do an initial cleaning of her 850 sq foot home. Ms [redacted]'s claim that we were to ONLY dust her home is not accurate... she did say that along with a DEEP cleaning of her home she wanted to make sure that her home was dusted... I told Ms. [redacted] that because her home was only 850 ft sq that her home would be dusted in the process of the initial cleaning and that her subsequent bi weekly visits would include the same. Since [redacted] and I were going to be gone the weekend of Memorial Day (May 24th), I actually added 2 more hours on to what would be a normal initial cleaning of that size home. Thank you [redacted] House-2-Om [redacted] ###-###-#### ________________________________________________________ Here are the 3 cleaners statements about the facts of that day: On 5-24-15 I arrived at Mrs. [redacted]'s home to do an initial cleaning along with two other technicians [redacted] and [redacted]. After waiting a few minutes Mrs. [redacted] arrived to let us in. Once in the home Mrs. [redacted] took us to the rooms that were her highest priority. As we walked through the house Mrs. [redacted] told us that it had been about ten years since she sincerely Cleaned her home. The only way I can describe the condition of the house as being in a border-line hoarding condition. I began my work in the bathroom, which took me three hours due to the build up of dirt and grim. When Mrs. [redacted] returned I was just finishing the bathroom. I explained to her, that we would not be able to finish the remaining areas since the hours for the cleaning had expired. However, I did tell that she can call the company to schedule a time for us to come back to complete the job. Mrs. [redacted] was clearly irritated by this. By this time the other technicians had packed up and went home for the day. I continued to work for an additional 45 minutes. In that time Mrs. [redacted] was ranting about how incompetent we were and using fowl language. At this point, I could see that there was nothing else I could do to ease her anxiety. Therefore, I proceeded to back my things and leave. In the end, Mrs. [redacted] slammed the door in my face as I was reminding her to call the company. Lead Technician [redacted] Powe ________________________________________________________ On 5/24/14 I arrived at Mrs.[redacted]s home to do a 3 hour initial cleaning along with two other technicians [redacted] and [redacted] . [redacted] was the lead person , I had spoken to [redacted] and thrn [redacted] calls Mrs.[redacted] to inform her that we were at her home. And then mrs.[redacted] arrived a few minutes later. Mrs.[redacted] had walked us around her home to show us the focuses in the home, and as we were walking mrs mentioned "that I had never had a cleaning service or my home cleaned in 10 years". In the condition that I speak from viewing her home was that she was a hoarder and this gave me anxiety, but yet I had begin to do our usual cleaning process. She had so much dust that I thought they were ashes, so I took pictures and was afraid to touch it. But yet I still didnt leave my coworkers or job that I had to complete. I took pictures to send to ny boss expressing how overwhelming the job was. She had so many nicknacks on her dresser , do to the build up that equivalated over the 10 years it was hard for me to clean the area due the amount of time I was given to clean the area that she requested. Mrs.[redacted] had came home and I explained to her that shd would need a second cleaning because of the build up. She was very irritated and rude , and by that time I had realized that my cleaning did not satisfy her. I had spoken to the lead technicion([redacted]) and she said that she would handle it from there on . [redacted] Swift ____________________________________________________________ On may 24 2014 I was went To clean [redacted]'s house I clean the kitchen and the Tea room the kitchen was Stremly dirty,there was a lot of spider webs and old ornaments(hundreds)and the tea room there was a adopt cat ,he wasnt friendly ,smelled too bad ,there was a lot of hair cat,spider webs and cat food.Mrs [redacted] was mean with ,she did not treat me right.I was very inconfortable the way she was talking to me.I did the best and finish the job. The cleaners were scheduled from 1-4pm, and [redacted] ended up staying until 5pm for a total of 10 hours... the cleaners had already been at another home in the morning and had reached their 8 hour maximum for the day. [redacted] informed Ms [redacted] that we would need to come back to finish the initial cleaning, at that time Ms [redacted] was using some quite curt words, and slammed the door in [redacted]'s face. I did not view this property before the cleaners came to clean... unfortunately, if I had we would not have taken the job... I kept telling Ms [redacted], that I made only one mistake in taking this job.. We dramatically underestimated the magnitude of work required in her small 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home, and that she should have been honest with us with the scope of work required. _____________________________________________________ As far as the fact of returning payment... [redacted] and I had a conversation with Ms [redacted], and during the conversation I asked her what would make her whole again... she stated at that time that nothing would make her whole... she said, "I want at least 1/2 of my money back" ... she then called a day later and stated that she deserved her whole money back and that she was filing a civil law suit, and stated such on Yelp.com... at that point I decided that I would allow her to file her suit and let the courts decide what monetary amount she had a right to. Ms [redacted]'s claim of non-eco friendly products... we do use eco friendly products, when requested... this was not a request made by Ms [redacted]. Ms [redacted]'s claim of one of our cleaner not speaking English... This is a false claim... all of our cleaners speak English... I do not know where she got that from. As far as pets in her home... Ms [redacted] has an area IN her home that is blocked off with chicken wire, and there is a Ferrell cat in there... our cleaner tried to go in to clean that area and the cat tried to bite her several times. Unfortunately, this has been a horrible experience for our company... Ms [redacted] caused great grief on our cleaners and had made false claims here and also on social media. We do have picture of the inside of her home that I asked the cleaners to send to me, as I was out of town when they were cleaning her home, and I could not go and view the home myself... I will however, keep those off of this response to make sure that Ms [redacted]'s privacy is kept. Thank you [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I stand by my charges.

I am not a hoarder, I clean my own house at least twice a week, I have NOT dusted in years because I don't like to dust. THAT is why I hired them. Because I don't dust I was willing to pay someone else to dust for me.

This was a one time only clean to come in and DUST my home. And they did not do the only work that I requested of them.
