8/5/ Case # [redacted] Dear Resolution Team, Olva [redacted] closed on her home 5/31/Her claim is to have had several HVAC companies to her homeHer recent HVAC company suggesting the coil and compressor are mismatched and she is now asking to replace the compressor and install another coilOlva [redacted] has been in her home for over years and these parts of the air-conditioned are under warranty for years I placed a call to [redacted] and spoke to their VP, [redacted] , the company that originally installed the HVAC system in Olva ***’s homeI also called Goodman Manufacturing and spoke to their manager Craig CaffeyGoodman is the brand of HVAC system installed in Olva ***’s homeAn appointment has been set for Wednesday 8/5/at 1:am with Olva [redacted] for [redacted] and [redacted] to inspect her Air Conditioning systemAt this time they informed me a ton coil and ton compressor is what was required at the time her house was under construction In regard to Olva ***’s claim of me not calling her back, I did call her on the day I said I would, Friday 7/31/At that time I offered to send [redacted] to her home to inspect the system and offered to pay the $inspection feeShe asked is that all they are going to do? I said yes at this time that is all I can doOlva [redacted] said if that is all they are going to do I don’t want them to come out, then she said, she will sue Gateway Homes In regard to exterior closet walls not being insulatedIn her request was no insulation in her three bedroomsI sent a warranty coordinator to Olva ***’s home in January to cut holes in the walls to expose the insulation and at that time Olva [redacted] decided she did not want holes cut in the wallsThis home is in the City of Houston and passed all inspections, if there was no insulation, in a required area, the home would not have passed If she would now like the wall opened, I will schedule a sheet rock repair man to cut a small hole so she will be able to see the insulation I will report back once I hear the results of the Air Conditioner inspection Respectfully, James [redacted] Customer Service Manager Gateway Homes, Ltd

Dear Resolution Team,
Olva [redacted] closed on her home 5/31/06. Her claim is to have had several HVAC companies to her home. Her recent HVAC company suggesting the coil and compressor are mismatched and she is now asking to replace the compressor and install another coil. Olva...

[redacted] has been in her home for over 9 years and these parts of the air-conditioned are under warranty for 10 years.
I placed a call to [redacted] and spoke to their VP, [redacted], the company that originally installed the HVAC system in Olva [redacted]’s home. I also called Goodman Manufacturing and spoke to their manager Craig Caffey. Goodman is the brand of HVAC system installed in Olva [redacted]’s home. An appointment has been set for Wednesday 8/5/15 at 1:00 am with Olva [redacted] for [redacted] and [redacted] to inspect her Air Conditioning system. At this time they informed me a 5 ton coil and 2.5 ton compressor is what was required at the time her house was under construction.
In regard to Olva [redacted]’s claim of me not calling her back, I did call her on the day I said I would, Friday 7/31/15. At that time I offered to send [redacted] to her home to inspect the system and offered to pay the $89 inspection fee. She asked is that all they are going to do? I said yes at this time that is all I can do. Olva [redacted] said if that is all they are going to do I don’t want them to come out, then she said, she will sue Gateway Homes.

I was informed by a former Gateway Sales Representative that there are limited warranty coverage's for roofs and foundation that are the builders responsibility. The Sales Rep stated that the coverage's includes all homes, regardless if the home was purchased through foreclosure. Also, as a representative of Gateway Homes, Mr. [redacted] has not contacted me directly or provided the Warranty Information as requested.
