I am replying to the complaint that we receivedI have been somewhat involved with this since the customer made the first complaint to us in NovemberWe performed a recall on this vehicle back on September **, The recall required us to replace the Wireless Ignition Node module which houses the key functionality for the ignition to start the vehicleWhen the WIN module is replaced we replace the keys as wellThe kit comes with new keysWe performed the repair and provided the customer the vehicle backIt was brought to our attention almost months later by the customer that the did not get the second keyI asked the technician and they claimed that they always put the second key in the center console cup holder as we normally wouldThe customer claims they never got itAs you can imagine there is no way to verify this either wayConsidering we perform many of these recalls and have never had any issues, and that the technician claims he did provide the key and put it in the console, I felt that most likely the key has just been misplaced by the customerIf the key was missing from day one, why didn't the customer complain soonerNow months later the only way to fix the concern is for someone to pay for the keyWe offered to the customer that they can purchase the key and we would be willing to program it free of chargeI will be willing to go one step further and allow the customer to purchase the key for cost and we will also program it at no chargeWe are trying to be fair to the customerUnfortunately due to how this took place it is impossible to accurately make a full determination either way Kind Regards Daniel M***Fixed Operations DirectorSmith Haven Chrysler Jeep DodgeSmith Haven MazdaSmith Haven MitsubishiP ###-###-####F ###-###-####

This vehicle has some aftermarket modifications to the engineThe number cylinder piston meltedA melted piston is not something that is a defectIt was explained to the customer that unless we find some warrant able reason for this it would not be covered under warrantyAt this point it is FCA and our dealerships assessment that the concern was caused by the aftermarket alterations to the engineThis is not something covered under the manufacturer warrantyWe are more than happy to try to work with the customer on pricing however the customer does not want any responsibility

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Attention Brett S***- on August [redacted] I purchased a dodge nitroThe sunroof had water damage but when asked I was informed by the salesman Troy that it was left openTwo days later after purchase come to find the veichle does leak, and the back door does not lockAfter bringing the veichle to the service center three times for the leaking room to be fixed, upon picking it up the third time it now has a cracked windshield which I was told they would not repair until I contacted the Revdex.comFinaly after picking up the veichle soon after as I am driving the garnish molding is falling off and the backseat seatbelt was installed incorrectly where I can not put my child's car seat inI wrote to Brett S [redacted] and called with no response from him but a phone call from BIll B [redacted] stating we can trade the veichle in yet any trade they offer would cost dollars or more a month and I am only looking to pay what I do as of nowThis purchase has been nothing but a hassle with the minute drive to bring it to be repaired and leaving work to do soI have owned this veichle for two months and have had rental veichle during this time with the dodge nitro hardly in my possession( CAN PROVIDE PICTURES OF ALL DAMAGE)At this point I would like to be put into a lease agreement where I am paying no more then dollars a month or to be out of my contract and receive my down payment back [redacted]
