I never received the gifts from Harley Davidson, which was the agreement to drop the caseI had e-mailed the service manager on several occasions about the gifts, and he would not respond back, so I e-mailed *** in sales, still nothing, this is why I refilled with the Revdex.com, because your sales managers words can't be trusted or believed.

We are sorry that Mr *** is not satisfied with our response, but the dealer service fee in question is applicable to all transactions and IS Disclosed on all of our units on the the showroom floor as required by Wisconsin state law by means of the Wisconsin Motorcycle Buyers Guide on each and every motorcycleAgain this is a legal fee that is charged to all transactions, and approved by the state of WisconsinWe do not waive the fee. There is nothing dishonest about our disclosure.Thank you

In response to this matter, we at the House of Harley have done everything for this cus[redacted]er that we possibly can, including sending items to him that he requested for his "inconveinance" as a token of cus[redacted]er satisfaction. He has recieved additional gift items from us. As stated in previous replies to these allegations, we cannot be responsible for the cus[redacted]er titling his purchase in Texas and then moving to California and expecting us to take care of his addreess forwarding and contacting his lender to advise them that he has moved. It would be his responsibility to inform his lender of a new address and to make sure that he mailed his payment to his lender for his obligation in time, if he aquired a late charge on his obligation, it is because he moved and did not inform his lender in a timely manner. Why would we be held responsible to notify his lender of his relocation and to ammend his information on his account? We have sent duplicate copies to his new address via UPS, and have confirmation that he has recieved it.  There is nothing more that we can do, nor should do in regards to this subject. In previous communications the cus[redacted]er has told us that he was happy with everything that we had done at his request. We consider that matter closed.[redacted]General Manager

I received some of my paperwork. No title though, and no Texas plate for it either. I feel I should get some compensation, do to having the motorcycle for a month and couldn't ride it. This will settle the matter, if I get my paper work, title and Texas plate. I naively left out the boring details of my incident at the House of Harley not expecting the dealership's management to exploit my lack of details to fabricate it's own cover storyThe Dealerships response is not
only unacceptable but also untruthful. I
will detail the true sequence of events on that day: After I showed interest in
the cycle in question the salesman asked me to wait while he speaks with his
sales managerThe Sale Manager, [redacted], approached me and asked me how
much I was willing to spend on a used cycle.
I responded that $- $was my price range. As I was about to leave the dealership, the
sales manager brurted out "how about ?"
I said "$plus taxes?" The sales manager nodded. I told him I would need to speak with my
wifeThe sale manager then asked my name and wrote some notes in a notepad as
I left the dealership. I returned a few hours later that day and took
the cycle for a test drive. I then told
the saleman "I'll take it, write it up".
Instead of writing up a bill of sale, the saleman began to write up a "written
offer to purchase" form As the saleman
began writing he asked out loud "[redacted] quoted you $6000, right?" "Yes" I responded. As the saleman completed the form he stated
there is a mandatory $service fee that is added to all sales. I indicated that I have never heard of such a
thing and that I am not willing to pay this fee. He insisted that this fee is
non-negotiable. Then as I began to leave
the dealership, the salesman said he would take the service fee off of the
form. He then took the form, along with
my credit card, over to [redacted], the Sales Manager who then approached me. [redacted] said that he was sorry but that he could
not accept my offer. I then left the dealership.

I am truly sorry as well that the House of Harley could not operate in a moral manner.  The management at this dealer are so derelict in their duty that they even lied  in their  response to this complaint. They claim that "the
dealer service fee in question is applicable to all transactions and IS
Disclosed on all of our units on the the showroom floor as required by
Wisconsin state law by means of the Wisconsin Motorcycle Buyers Guide on
each and every motorcycle", yet the picture I took of this document clearly shows a blank space under " Additional Service Fee $ ".  Due to this dealers reprehensible decision to falsify testimony regarding this complaint I reject their response.  It is sad to see a former reputable dealer sink to such unethical behavior in their attempt to gain a quick buck.  Customers beware.  Please see attached photographic evidence.

In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint, we have overnighted the paperwork to him at a Extended Stay Hotel in California, his residence address is in the state of Texas. The financing was arranged with Harley Davidson Financial Services, and the Texas address is his address of record for anything related...

to the financing or payment issues. The House of Harley cannot request a change of address for Mr. [redacted], this is something that he needs to due personally due to privacy laws. We have provided him with the contact information for HDFS, along with contact phone numbers. In reference to a "Temporary Tag", or License plate, the State of Wisconsin will only issue a temporary plate to vehicles that are titled in the state and taxes are paid in Wisconsin. Any Temp Tag would have to be issued by the titling state, in this case, that would be Texas. The motorcycle has a "License applied for" on it when shipped. The House of Harley being in Wisconsin, cannot issue a Temp Tag for the state of Texas. We have emailed Mr. [redacted] and left voice mail messages for him in reference to the above. Mr. [redacted] travels for his employment, and all correspondence from HDFS will be addressed to his Texas address. We are very sorry for the delay in sending his paperwork, but it has been sent to him overnight.Thank you,Respectfully[redacted]General ManagerHouse of Harley-Davidson

We met the customer and he informed us he had a deposit at another dealership, and was shopping. We gave him a better deal on a similar motorcycle, at which point he signed a contract agreeing to the deal.  He then placed a deposit on the incoming unit.  thereafter, the customer told his...

salesperson he was continuing to shop after agreeing to the deal, signing the purchase agreement, and leaving a deposit.  The customer then notified his salesperson that he was in fact cancelling the deal with us, for a third dealership.  We immediately agreed to the cancellation without condition. The salesperson was informed that we need the credit card number and security code.  We received the security code and card number on 12/5.   The finance manager in charge was out of the office on the 5th, and our General Manager who needed to sign our internal authorization was out 12/8 through 12/16.  The card was refunded as agreed, without condition on 12/17.

In reference to complaint # [redacted], we would like to replay.Mr. [redacted] came into our dealership and looked at a 2014 pre-owned Harley Davidson XL1200 N that had a price tag on it of $8995.00, sale priced at $8075.00.Mr. [redacted] offered to buy the motorcycle for $6000.00 including dealer...

service fees of $249.50, his offer was not accepted, as it was not at all realistic that a bike would be discounted an additional $2075.00 from the already sale price. All of our transactions are subject to an approved state dealer service fee of $249.50 by WATDA, this fee is not a hidden surcharge, it is disclosed in all of our negotiations.Upon the unreasonable offer of $6000.00 including dealer service fee, Mr. [redacted] left the dealership, no deal was consummated. Our dealer service fee is in accordance with Wisconsin Auto Truck Dealers Association.Thank you,[redacted]

We have refunded Mr. [redacted]'s deposit on the rental reservation that was a "Guaranteed Reservation" meaning that there was to be no cancellation allowed due to the shortage of rental units during the event.

After a discussion with him , he is very pleased with the settlement.

We made this decision in the spirit of customer goodwill.

Review: I purchased a few articles from House of Harley. Decided to return all o f them. The card I initially purchased them on was classed, so I fave them another card(MyVanillaDebitCard). That card denied it, and the funds were returned to House of Harley. The House of Harley has said they do not have the returned funds, and we're talking about almost $700. total for a leather jacks, boots, and socks.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned in one way or another. I'm tired of waiting and getting the run around by all agents involved.

I have tried to call several times, emailed and left messages but have not been able to speak with anyone regarding this matter. The business has contacted me via telephone and explained the situation that was causing the delay. They have gone above and beyond to rectify the complaint.

Regards,

I did an on-line order with these people and as it says on the web site after going thru with the order that we would receive a email of shipment and we haven’t gotten anything from them except the conformation that the order was received. They have taking money out of our back account early last week. I have tried to call them 5 times even left messages each time I called. One of the calls were to a [redacted] – General Manager, and tried to talk to the E-Sales department manager [redacted] and I had left 2 voice mails with her and one other on their regular answering message after hours. I have even sent an e-mail to [email protected] and again haven’t heard back from them one way or the other. Again thank for you time.
I’m just saying that this is not a way to handle a business in any way! I have tried all ways to get a hold of them and wanting to know if you have had any other problems with this company or is it a false company that I just lost money on?

Review: On 7-18 I purchased a rainsuit for my husband from the House of Harley, it was charged to my credit card 7/18/2013 7/19/2013 HOUSE OF HD [redacted] WI $161.01. When we received it was too large, so I returned for a Large. I did get another rainsuit the first part of August. It came with XL pants and L coat. I immediately called because we were going to Sturgis. The gentleman told me I could purschase a cheap pair at [redacted] and return the rainsuit when I come back from vacation. I told him I was paying all this shipping and adding insurance. He said they would reimburse me for that when I returned the items. So on August 13th I returned the rainsuit back to the House of Harley. I tracked the package and they received back on August 15th. After a week of no repsonse I called several times, still no response, even though they say they give you 24 hours. I have emails from them looking into it and no response. So last Friday I called them and they promised a call back and still no answer. They had indicated they were busy with the 110th anniversary. I would like a full refund plus postage since I am not able to get the service I was hoping for. I appreciate your help.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund plus shipping and handling. thank you

Business

Response:

The full order was refunded

I would never order anything from this company again. I paid for expedited shipping in order to receive an item for Christmas. I then noticed on an email from them that one items would not be shipped for 7-10 days! I called and emailed and received no response. Finally two days before Christmas I was able to talk to a real person. She told me the item was there but had not shipped and it was "unacceptable". She was going to find out why and get back with me. Needless to say, I had to call again and this time the individual who finally answered said that the item was "in fact" not there and was not available to ship so I would therefore not have it in time for Christmas. If they had responded to emails for phone messages earlier and had given me a real answer I would have had time to secure the jacket elsewhere. I will be sending back the partial shipment that I received (which I only ordered because I thought I would receive the jacket in time and will never again be ordering from this company.
