Review: I purchased a $100 gift card on November 15, 2012 from the House of Lounge. I returned to House of Lounge on July 15, 2013 in order to use the gift card and the business was no longer there. I had no prior notice that the business was closing down. I found the owner's phone number online and called her to ask for a refund. She refused to give me a refund and stated that the business had simply closed and had not declared bankruptcy. She told me that I could bring a lawsuit, but that it would cost me more in legal fees than the $100 that they owe me.This is the information I was able to find online about the owners:[redacted]: [redacted] Ave. ###-###-####, [redacted]s [redacted] St. ###-###-####I don't think I have any other course of action other than to hope that you all can settle the matter.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for my $100 gift card. I have the physical gift card and a credit card statement showing the value.

Review: My boyfriend purchased a gift card from the house of lounge for me as a Valentines Day gift for $150. I went in this week to redeem it (yes it's been a while but I travel a lot and have not had time) but I checked the store's hours and headed in only to find that there was a NEW name on the lingerie store. I went inside and the staff told me that I was the 4th person this week to come in with a House of Lounge gift card, but that she couldn't help me because they're a different entity all together. She gave me the same advice she gave the other ladies: to reach out to the email posted on the back of the card and I did, but got no response. There was no notification or indication they'd be going out of business was given. Their website is blank, there is no other contact info, but all other signs when looking up the business online it appears to be open! So we are out $150 and we aren't the only ones!Desired Settlement: 150.00 refund for gift card purchased
