The business owner's account of events is not accurate He was very irresponsible and difficult to reach to the point of non-communicative, not returning any calls When I did reach him, after repeated attempts, he gave me a list of excuses and made several desperate promises which he also failed to follow through During the conversation he was very defensive, insulting me and challenged me to a fight
I was here both times of service and each only took mins a piece His new claim that travel is included in time is a deviation from the agreementBesides, I also noticed they have another account on the same street and his business is said to be in the Fleming Island area (not sure because an actual physical address cannot be found on their website or anywhere else) so his travel claims are vastly exaggerated
However, because he is now willing to provide me with a refund for services not performed I consider complaint ID *** resolved Thank you for providing a protection to the consumer from businesses such as this one!

Here is the bottom line. We were late showing up twice and apologized twice for the staffing issues that caused this issue. We then set out to resolve the staffing issues to get our schedule back...
on track to eliminate this from happening in the busy months to come. We also assured mr [redacted] that if he were able to ride out this month under this understanding and if he was happy at the end ,not the middle of the month ,that we would give him a free month for the inconvienences he experienced. He called after two visits, one of which he retained our crew for two hours to do extra work he thought should be performed after we had already given him a two hour clean up on the first visit, explaining that this is what we owed him. We promised an intial clean up and a total of four visits for the sum total of 231.00 on a month binding contract. No requirements beyond one month.
Our maintenence cost of operation hourly is between 60-75 dollars an hour.
So mid month mr [redacted] calls and demands a refund of $ 131.00 claiming that according to " his calculations this is what was owed him after four hours of work from a two man crew. I found this to be unreasonable seeing our cost of operation alone totaled at $240.00 and sent me [redacted] a full refund in the amount of $231.00 with the understand that upon deposit of this check any and all agreements between himself and lawn transformers are canceled effectively.
