I am rejecting this response because: all of this is liesWe never got a pennyEverybody knows you get several bids before you accept the best offerWhy would we pick one that wants ALL the amount of the check to only fix the roof?? That is STUPID!!! The shingles sat in our yard from April until the end of August with me CONSTANTLY calling them asking when somebody was going to put them onThe entire time more rain was coming in damaging more to the inside of the houseThese people lied to us over & overLook at the dates, when has it taken an ENTIRE YEAR to do insurance repairs? This company employs SEVERAL contractors, they weren't here, they are miles away, they have NO IDEA what was going onThey are only the money endBILL, our contractor wanted us to find LOCAL people to do the workNOBODY would because they KNOW this guy & he would never tell them when he would pay them! Why would we pay & do ALL interior work ourselves out of our pocket?? That's STUPID!! That's why we have INSURANCE!! These people ripped us off & they know itThat's the problem with this country now, people cheating & scamming othersWe would have NEVER agreed to such a stupid thing to do all that work ourselvesWhat goes around comes around my friendI hope you sleep well at nightOne day you will get caught & I hope you lose your license & go to prison

I am rejecting this response because: this is a TOTAL LIE!!  I have the paperwork that was faxed to the mortgage company requesting all monies to be released to them for completion of ALL DAMAGES. The secretary from this company constantly called us & the mortgage damage inspector wanting their money. They were told several times all the work was not complete & when it was they would inspect. I called the mortgage company & there is NO MONEY LEFT. This company has lied to us over & over that they would send the money owed & they have not.  This is the ultimate insurance fraud scam!! I tried to work this out the right way but I see this will be impossible. USDA is a GOVERNMENT entity, they are defrauding them also & they are aware of this situation. I have copies of all the paperwork they sent & 3 witnesses that heard them say they would pay [redacted] $1200.00 to repair inside work. We are not the first ones to be cheated by this company. I have NO PROBLEM going public with this. Price gouging is against the law & I have the paperwork this company sent to back me up. Thankyou

Tell us why here...The deductible of $500.00 is the Policy Holder’s responsibility- House Works did not collect the deductible because home owner did theinterior repairs. Initially House Works received a check from the [redacted]’s that they received from Nationwide in theamount of $4,465.50. This check was forwarded to the mortgage company/[redacted]Acting Thru [redacted] for endorsement. The mortgage company returned thecheck to House Works in the amount of $4,071.60.  The remaining balance of $393.90 isunaccounted for.  If the customer did not receive the $393.90 it’s possible that it could have been applied to anypenalties/late fees if there were any on the customer’s mortgage account.

I have attached 2 estimates.  The 1stestimate includes roof & interior repairs and the 2nd estimate shows whereHouse Works removed the interior repairs because the interior repairs werecompleted by the home owner.  House Works only repaired the roof.  Onthe page that says summary for dwelling is a break down of Nationwide'spayment. This estimate is repaired by Nationwide not House Works. Replacement cost Value is the total of job,(less depreciation) is thecheck that will be mailed to contractor or home owner. The deductible is thepayment owed by the policy holder and net claim is final check owed byNationwide.  Mrs. [redacted] stated that they do not owe a deductible it wastaken out of estimate. That is not correct, all policy holder's owe a deductible. So,  if you take the less depreciation total and the deductible thisshould total replacement cost value.  Nationwide is not taking monies outof the summary for dwelling it's just showing the break down. I also, attached copies of the checks that House Works received from Nationwide and USDA(the [redacted]'s mortgage company).  Mrs. [redacted] stated also that ourGreenville manager would pay her husband $1200.00 to complete interior repairs. It's not standard practice for House Works to have home owners complete theirown repairs.  But in such a case, House Works would not collectdeductible.  There was a check issued to the [redacted]s and [redacted] for$4465.50 and the check was mailed by House Works to the mortgage company. USDA sent House Works a check in the amount off $4,071.60 so there is$393.90 unaccounted for.  Mrs. [redacted] did state that the mortgage companywas not holding any money.  Since House Works did not collect the [redacted]s$500.00 deductible and monies left over from USDA the [redacted]'s have received atotal of $893.90.
