I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to meBut I'd like to note that it took several months and many forms of communication to get their attention, and not until I filed a compliant with Revdex.com did they finally take action, where they were rather unprofessional in their first communication with meI had to lay out the terms of the warranty to obtain a solution in regards to this problem This company did very little to satisfy the customer and honor their terms until I brought it to their attention I just want other consumers to be aware when doing business with this company

I am not satisfied with the response as I did not misuse the item it just broke and I feel that the company should be responsible for a defective item just like any real reputable company would do. So my next step it to contact the consumer affairs of California and to contact my credit card company as to the charge.  If it were my fault because I misused the item I would not ask the broken one be replace sense I was willing to pay the shipping to return the broken item, which can not be used by anyone, for a replacement. I don't feel that this company is honest and reputable as it dose not take responsibility for a defective item.

Review: I purchased a pair of Women Shoe Stretcher 2-Way Wood Lady's Shoes Stretcher on March 11 2015 and approximately 10 weeks later one of them broke and the company refuses to replace the broken one or refund the cost. I even offered to pay the return shipping to return the broken one to them if return for a new replacement.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the broken one replaced or a refund of the cost of the broken on. The pair cost me $18.99 of which that would be $9.50 for one. Either resolution is acceptable.

Review: On May 25, 2014 I purchased a scale from Houseables through Amazon.com (Houseables Shipping Scale, 600 LB x .05, Digital Industrial Platform Price Computing Postal Scale) I used this scale a handful of times not putting anything exceeding 50llbs on it as I only used it to weigh my check baggage. After using 5-6 times the monitor stopped working completely. For over 2 months now I've been trying to reach Houseables to no avail. Amazon tried to assist me but I was past the 90 day grace period so they could only do so much due to their policy. I tried all forms of communication with Houseables many times over the last 2 months, i.e. calling, through Amazon's direct contact to the vendor, email, their live chat, and so much more. They simply do not respond and it's come to my attention due to seeing other reviews from this company that they are selling defective items to consumers. I am still within my one year warranty period which they clearly state on purchasing the item. Now my warranty is fast approaching its deadline and I have yet to hear from them. I want to assure other consumers are not conned by this company. Stay away! Don't let the decent prices and the fact that they are on Amazon fool you. Amazon has launched their own investigation on this company so it won't be long before they remove them as well. Thank you Revdex.com for allowing me to share my story.Desired Settlement: I'd like a full refund on the product and I'm happy to send it back (shipping cost is the responsibility of Houseables) because it's no longer working. This is the only thing I will accept. I will not take a replacement given their quality is poor and chances are it will give me the same issue again.
