Hello!HousingLink originally received an email from the complainant on October 22nd, 2017. This email was forwarded to me (Josh [redacted], Marketing Manager, I handle most of the customer service issues) on October 23rd. I responded to the complainant's email this morning, October 25th at 8:42 am. Here is...

our response to the Revdex.com.The complainant's issue is that certain listings have appeared over several weeks. Due to the nature of rental housing, this is normal and not out of the ordinary. Here is why: Apartment management companies/landlords often receive notice that a renter will move out 60 days before the end of the lease. This means that they have a 60 day window to fill the opening. Many landlords will list the opening right away (stating the date that it will come available). If the unit is not filled, they will keep it advertised until they find a qualified renter. This process can take weeks for a landlord, which is why rental listings on our site may appear over and over again.Sometimes there are errors on our website. These happen when a landlord forgets to close their listing, or maybe they list it incorrectly. If a renter notifies us of the specific problem, we will fix it (either manually or by asking the landlord to update the listing). However, the complaint that listings appearing over and over again is normal, and not a problem, unless a specific error is found. Thanks!Josh [redacted]
