Houston Construction

Review: My house needs sided so I started contacting contractors in February of 2014 for the job. One such contractor, a [redacted] came and offered us a bid. Vincent told us that he just took over this construction company from [redacted] and offered us his services under the Name Houston Construction, Renovation and Maintenance and remodeling services. The address on the contract is 468 Goucher Street, Johnstown, Pa. 15905. After receiving his bid I invited him back to go over the work again, adding some extra work and removing some areas not needing siding.We agreed to use him and he came back a third time with a contract. He wanted down payment but my wife and I only agreed to $3,000 of which we gave him a check.He was supposed to start work in a week as long as it didnt rain. After 3 weeks we called him and he stated that he wasnt going to do the job. We asked for our money back and he hung up the phone. We have not been able to reach him since and he has not returned our deposit.Desired Settlement: We want our $3,000 deposit returned.
