GHH Engineering has satisfactorily completed several projects for me Gary, the registered civil engineer, is smart, very knowledgeable of Placer County's permitting process, and has a good working relationship with County staff Communication with staff was easy and flawless Gary definitely is an expert on civil engineering matters, and I highly recommend him
Costs us a lot of money and after a month and a half, never actually got anything other than poorly framed walls, a half done set of plans, and damaged to our existing houseHe could not even pay us back the retainer that he said was refundable
He held our plans hostage to try to extort money out of us until we finally put our foot down and decided to eat our lossesWe never got finished plans
Even after requesting it multiple times, we could not get receipts for materials, or time cards for employeesWe never new what the money we gave him was actually spent on
This was by far an expensive lesson in why you should not cold call someone to work on your house, even if he is a licensed contractor
The owner is not honorable, and if given half the chance, will try to take you for all your worth
