It is unfortunate that [redacted] feels we did not provide a great customer experienceHowever, there are always two sides to every story, so here is oursFirst, [redacted] stated we rescheduled twice and she stopped taking my calls as she did not want to hear any excusesAs we all know, timing is not an exact science in the service industry, especially when one is on the roadways dealing with traffic, tooI made the mistake and gave [redacted] an exact time of arrival, instead of the hour window that is standard within our company and the industryYes, we were running late as the previous jobs ran a bit longer than we anticipated and there was trafficThis is why I always stay in constant communication with the customer to make sure they are well informed of the day’s timelineSince daylight did not allow for the material to be sprayed that day, we went out of our way to have the team stay overnight at a nearby hotel so they could complete the project first thing in the morningWe completed the work and we were paid upon completionNext, [redacted] stated that they had two days of rain immediately after we completed the work and “assumed” the material was thick enough not to get washed awayI can understand the frustration of inclement weather occurring days after paying for the product and serviceHowever, it would be priceless if I had the ability to control and/or predict the weather but unfortunately that is an improbable taskThere are no guarantees in our line of work with so many extenuating factors such as the customer watering and/or the weatherI did talk to ***’s husband in attempts to alleviate their concernsI explained that we would be delighted to come back to spray the materials to cover any areas washed awayOnce I mentioned that some costs would be involved, which I was more than willing to discount, the husband stated this was unacceptableHe wanted us to come out at and respray all material that was washed away at our own expenseAs the call continued, I explained to him that I would end the call if he did not stop making unreasonable demandsIt was unfortunate he could not have a civilized conversation in regards to reconciliation, so the call endedFinally, [redacted] stated the material turned brownApparently, the Rye grass grew in and started dying out as it does naturally this time of yearIt does sound like the Bermuda seed washed awayAs far as the breach of contract, please let me reiterate that this is not a valid statementWe did deliver the goods and service as requested and paidWe never made any verbal or written guarantee, as companies in this industry cannot guarantee growth! Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
We do not expect the company to be able to control the weather, but with the business services they chose to offer in exchange for a substantial amount of money, they should be expected to control when they apply their product according to the weather or at least make the customer whole by reapplying the product in spots where it washed awayIt's clear they only are interested in making money and not upholding their end of the bargainThe owner/manager did not offer to reapply any portion of the productIt is simply not true that they did And if my husband, Michael, did raise his voice at him on the phone, who could blame him after being ripped off $1,I don't know anyone who would remain calmAnd how did Robert respond? He hung up the phone instead of doing the right thing of trying to resolve the situation with his customer. The real issue is that the product not only didn't work, but it actually ruined my lawn! We had to pay to have sod put down to fix itThey should be responsible enough to guarantee their productThis defense that the bluegrass hasn't come out yet, and the rye grass has, is not true eitherThe bluegrass STILL hasn't come outWhat person in their right mind would be satisfied by paying $1,for brown grass? A contract exists if there is an offer, acceptance and consideration ($1,900)They did not provide the product that was offeredThey literally took our money and left us with nothing but a mess on our property! We still believe the company owes us a refund.
Regards, *** ***

It is unfortunate that [redacted] feels we did not provide a great customer experience. However, there are always two sides to every story, so here is ours. First, [redacted] stated we rescheduled twice and she stopped taking my calls as she did not want to hear any excuses. As we all know, timing is not an...

exact science in the service industry, especially when one is on the roadways dealing with traffic, too. I made the mistake and gave [redacted] an exact time of arrival, instead of the 4 hour window that is standard within our company and the industry. Yes, we were running late as the previous jobs ran a bit longer than we anticipated and there was traffic. This is why I always stay in constant communication with the customer to make sure they are well informed of the day’s timeline. Since daylight did not allow for the material to be sprayed that day, we went out of our way to have the team stay overnight at a nearby hotel so they could complete the project first thing in the morning. We completed the work and we were paid upon completion. Next, [redacted] stated that they had two days of rain immediately after we completed the work and “assumed” the material was thick enough not to get washed away. I can understand the frustration of inclement weather occurring days after paying for the product and service. However, it would be priceless if I had the ability to control and/or predict the weather but unfortunately that is an improbable task. There are no guarantees in our line of work with so many extenuating factors such as the customer watering and/or the weather. I did talk to [redacted]’s husband in attempts to alleviate their concerns. I explained that we would be delighted to come back to spray the materials to cover any areas washed away. Once I mentioned that some costs would be involved, which I was more than willing to discount, the husband stated this was unacceptable. He wanted us to come out at and respray all material that was washed away at our own expense. As the call continued, I explained to him that I would end the call if he did not stop making unreasonable demands. It was unfortunate he could not have a civilized conversation in regards to reconciliation, so the call ended. Finally, [redacted] stated the material turned brown. Apparently, the Rye grass grew in and started dying out as it does naturally this time of year. It does sound like the Bermuda seed washed away. As far as the breach of contract, please let me reiterate that this is not a valid statement. We did deliver the goods and service as requested and paid. We never made any verbal or written guarantee, as companies in this industry cannot guarantee growth! Weather and the customer’s part in watering the areas are both paramount for growth, yet totally out of our control.
