Parent company of Fresh Air Screens, garage door screens. Great product, really bad customer service. Purchased garage door screen on March 19, 2014 from [redacted]. In August, heavy duty zipper would no longer close when zipped up or down. Zipper covered by 1 yr warranty. Called manufacturer 5 times first week. Reached customer service and was told "someone would call me back" each time. Second week, finally researched Fresh Air Screens and found number for parent company, Houston Manufacturing & Design. Spoke with [redacted] in customer service there. She explained how to package screen for shipment and said FedEx would pick it up the next day, Wednesday. Next day came, no pickup. Called and emailed [redacted] Wednesday and Thursday. No response. Spoke with receptionist at Houston Manufacturing on Friday, asked to speak with [redacted], company president. Was transferred to [redacted] voicemail. Called Fresh Air Screens, asked for mailing address. Was told someone would have to call me back. [redacted] called and I was very vocal about my displeasure with their customer service. [redacted] said they would send a refund of purchase price + $15.00 for return shipping. Have not yet received. Sent screen back with tracking number. Will update review if/when refund received.
