Bad MRI technician
I scheduled an appointment with the manager Joel, who is readily available when I call. I was scheduled in and the female technician saw me back and I told her I could not see without my glasses, and as I sat on the table she instructed me to lay back and when I did, my back struck the head rest, and it was very painful. I had a major back injury and I was getting an MRI for scheduled appointment with a back surgeon next eeek. How is this Indian girl with an English accent think she’s going to move up and last in a real doctor office or hospital? Her sound of sorry was not just to the pain. Terrible bed side manor, and not fit for the medical field.

Review: I paid $1000 for an MRI of my foot in February 2015. I paid they same day I received the MRI service. I received the EOB from my health insurance company in late March 2015. The EOB showed that they had sent a payment to Houston MRI for $411.82 and my portion of payment responsibility was $88.18. I am owed a refund of OVER $900. I have spoken to Maria (the business manager for Houston MRI) a few times about my refund. I keep getting told statements like...."refunds take a long time", "your refund will be mailed soon"....etc. Maria has confirmed that I will be getting a refund of $911.82. It is now July 2015 and I still have not received my refund check. I have been calling and attempting to get my refund since late March. So basically, Houston MRI has been keeping almost a thousand dollars of my money. Like I have said....I have been contacting, talking, and leaving messages in order to try to recover my money. Maria rarely calls me back....if fact the last time I left her a voicemail was June 24, 2015.....still no call back and no answer. I would like my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like my entire refund of $911.82

Review: I received service from Houston MRI on 1/07/16. I paid 525.56 on my credit card/ debt card. They said it was to go towards my deductible.

I had my knee surgery on 3/11/2016 and waited to call my insurance company

My Insurance company negotiated with them and paid them all. I was only to pay a copayment of 45.00. The are to reimburse me 480.56. This is how I found out they owed me. They ( Houston MRI) never called me.

I called Houston MRI Billing and spoke with [redacted] I do not recall the date but she did inform me that it would take 60 - 90 days for reimbursement. And she also told me that it would be reimburse back on my card. I said that would be great. End of phone conversation.

I spoke with a [redacted] on 5/4/2016 and she was going to look into it and call me right back. Her words! She never called back.

5/16/2016- I spoke with [redacted] to ask her where is my refund, she stated that it only has been 53 days. according to my date of service ( 1/7/16) that's way over. I don't know what calendar their using!

6/6/16- I spoke with [redacted] she put me on hold! Came back on and apologized and that told me in a couple of weeks I should receive the week of June 20th.I told her I would call if I didn't get it.

6-22-2016- 3:30 pm I called and I spoke with [redacted] . she said it was being processed and will be mailed out to me. I was at the top of the list. I informed [redacted] that the were to refund back on my credit card as promised. She said they don't do that! I told her that's what you had told me the first time I called. She told me who ever told me that no longer worked there. I told her it was she that told me , because I kept notes on my phone calls to them. There was Silence on the phone. So now I'm filing a complaint. Nothing was said to me about holding my hard earn money hostage for so long! Something is really wrong with this system. Thank you for you help in resolving this matter quickly.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund to my account!

Review: I went to have an MRI on March 27,2015. Without verifying my insurance benefits they collected $1000.00 from me. I then received the EOB from [redacted] which showed they should have only collected $500 from me, so I called them to discuss a refund. The billing lady (Malina) informed me that she would put in the request and it would take 30-45 days. I have made numerous calls about the refund, all I get is its being processed, office manager is out on vacation, now the COO is on vacation and he signs all the checks. I want my $500 refund from this facility and I am tired of the run around. Here it is July 16 and still NO REFUND has been sent out.Desired Settlement: I want my refund sent out NOW. They did not hesitate to over charge me...now I want my money back.

Review: I went to Houston MRI at [redacted] on November 14, 2014. They told me that I owed 500.00. Said that is what I owed. I know it is my responsibility to figure out what I really owe but when I later went to submit this receipt and the Explanation of Benefits from [redacted] to our [redacted], I found out that they received a $400.00 check from [redacted] on December 8. They told me they audit some accounts but basically, in my opinion, if they get your money, you are not getting a refund. I stared calling them about my $400.00 refund since they were paid in full by me on November 14. They told me on March 19 that I would have it put in for a refund and it could take 30 to 45 days. Then later when I called to make sure it was being handled they told me that is "business days." When I called on April 20, [redacted] (who I talked to again today) told me that if I don't have the money in 2 weeks to give them a call. Today, [redacted] is telling me that they are running behind and they cannot guarantee when I will get the refund but probably not before May 20 or so. So they have had payment in full since November 14, got the check from [redacted] on December 8, were made aware of this by me on March 19 and I need to wait until "around" May 20 to get my refund. I have basically loaned them money since December 8 when they took the check that wasn't due to them. If someone could give me a firm date as to when I will get my refund that would be great but the date keeps changing and I have not seen my $400.00. I left a message for the accounting manager (her vm said Human Resources), [redacted] today and [redacted] is her boss but [redacted] said that you have to go through [redacted]. Thank you for any help.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my $400 refund as soon as possible. This is ridiculous.
