Our notes state the claim was initially processed by the insurance carrier and applied *** ** to a deductable so we transferred to the patient as deductable and started sending statements
The only notes on the account made by myself, state that the
Insurance did call *** to say they are reprocessing the claim and paying *** ** on *** or when the next check run was for us.
Due to *** being part of a large GROUP ( ***) the insurance payments take a few weeks to get to us to post and the statement for *** went out before we were able to post the insurance payment of *** **.
The payment has been posted and the visit is at zero
I have left a message for the patients *** *oday a* *** *** *** on a voice mail to return my call to go over this in detail.
We do not turn over to a collection service, so the account would not been turned over or REPORTED
We make every attempt to call all patients back regarding billing/collection issues however I am not sure what happened in this case
