While we are not affiliated in any way with the Revdex.com, we appreciate your organization forwarding along the client's complaint Houston Party Boats is an event venue and very well known for the personalized outstanding level of service we
provide to our clients and their invited guests We have had well over 20,passengers aboard each year and have been in business since That said, the client had previously cruised with us which is why she elected to select us as her choice venue
The client made a site visit to our offices ony *** inquiring about planning an event for her guests and what we had to offer As with any event venue, we discussed in detail her event, pricing, and obviously the available vessel for her cruiseAdditionally, we followed up with an email covering all aspects of the cruise including pricing (attached)
As a practice in securing event dates, we made several follow up calls; *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** All follow up calls went unanswered and assumed perhaps the client selected an alternate venue
Subsequently, on *** ***, the client calls to secure the *** *** cruise date from *** and provides funds for the full balance based on guests being that we were within a two week window when funds are due (see attached invoice #***) As an exception unlike any other event venue we offered the opportunity to reschedule the event the following week, *** *** if need be and at the same rate understanding it would be likely if that were the case, we would otherwise secure the date with another client losing out what we could have secured if rescheduling took place
The client called on *** *** excited about the upcoming cruise and wanted to know if the availability in for her cruise to take place on *** *** from *** which we were able to accommodate that at the regular rate (see attached ***a)
The client called on *** *** to increase the passenger count to the maximum capacity of ** and asked if anymore could board which exceed the maximum capacity Furthermore, the client expressed interest in securing another date in ***, however this time aboard a larger boat.
The client called on *** *** two days before the cruise inquiring about moving her event aboard a larger boat and if there were any affiliates or other companies that we work with that can accommodate more than the ** that she secured through usI indicated if I had, the fact of the matter is that she secured her event aboard Houston Party Boat which accommodates *** It was then the client became unreasonable, belligerent, argumentative and threatening to file a lawsuit and cancelling the cruise altogether I informed the client that I would no longer speak to her in this manner and would speak directly with her attorney being that it now became a legal matter I had followed up with subsequent emails to this effect in effort to find some resolve (attached)
On the date of the cruise, *** ***, I ensured that our captain and crew prepared the vessel for their cruise in case there was a change of heart as we really would have liked for them to cruiseOur captain, *** actually called the client to which the client secured our competitor with a larger passenger capacity vessel with *** ***
While I understand there are legitimate complaints, this is not one of themTo utilize the Revdex.com regardless accreditation status in effort to disparage or make record is completely wrong either way I trust your organization will look very closely as the fact as they are clearly communicated; importantly in writing from the informational material provided to the paperwork and updates she receivedTo even have this logged is erroneous and without merit Without doubt, sadly, I am certain this won't stop here with the Revdex.com Some people can't accept responsibility for their decisions and blame it on everyone else.
The point of the matter as I see that, the client ended up with more passengers than the boat would accommodate for and wants the money back There is not any event venue including ours that would provide for that under the circumstances as clearly laid out and presented to you The client has merchant services with her credit card company to resolve this issue and encouraged her dispute the matterI seriously doubt they will accept the merits in this matter and frankly I am certain the client knows full well what she is doingNo, I am not into arbitrarily holding client's money nor do we defraud clients in any manner what-so-ever That's just ludicrous! We pride ourselves in level of service we provide with honesty, integrity and doing the right thing.
