Will never conduct business with this company again.
Unit I reserved was unavailable and so I was offered a larger unit for the same price or go to another company recommended by these people
I opted for larger unit so I didn't have to deal with someone else at the last minute.
Received RV unit that was full of spider webs, moldy odor, generator would not work, freezer worked but refrigerator section didn't. Unit was very unstable when turning left, felt like the suspension was dead on one side, passenger mirror rattled incessantly and had to be readjusted, tires were scrubbing, windshield washer only worked on passenger side (wipers were ok)
Response from owners were as follows (excerpt)
"We upgraded you from a Class C motorhome to a Class A motorhome because of the original motorhome being down and not rentable. This upgrade cost was not passed on to you as the customer and Houston RV absorbed the difference between the two units. The Class C that you originally scheduled to take out was a cost to you of $776.25. The cost of a Class A rental for the same timeframe is $1265.00 saving you $488.75."
I am still in awe about the term "upgrade" when the main items didn't work and the "upgrade" was due to their not being able to deliver my early reservation.
My response to the owners is as follows...

I will not conduct business nor promote business with your company again based on the following reasons
- At the 11th hour I was told AFTER leaving a message that I was coming to pick up the RV the next morning that it was in the shop - my options were to take to business to someone else you suggested or take the bigger size
- I was informed that all was working well with this RV and again that morning told all was well. Whilst conducting a walk thru I was told the generator sometimes works - another 11th hour issue
- turns out the generator actually doesn't work, nor does the fridge (however the freezer works)
Without my even addressing the other issues like suspensions etc you seem to think these listed above are minor inconveniences. My having to take a larger RV is not a savings for me but rather should have been a good faith offer from your company considering I reserved something you offered but could not provide
I will be posting my review on my experiences locally for my colleagues as well as publicly"
