Both of my parents passed away at this nursing home (Grwd Health & Living); my mom in 2007, my dad When my Mom was living there, we were very pleased w/ the professional serviceWhen my dad was there, which was only for approxwks before his passing, my sibling & I each visited Dad everyday, and we felt as though we HAD to in order to make sure he was getting very good care We felt as though we were "putting out fires" every day we went there We were disappointed w/ the service and the attitudes of half of the nursing staff The Director of Nursing was a good employee who tried to resolve daily issues I'm not sure where we would have placed Dad had we not placed him in GH&L, but we certainly can't give them a high rating We are getting ready to make a $2,payment to this nursing home for days of care which was MINIMALLY given This payment is for room & board only We cannot count on our hands how many times we had to track down nurses or other workers to give Dad simple, basic care
