At first my over the phone experience was great with Mr*** and he worked with me on a moving date, however when the movers came out only one of them was in uniform and the other two were much older didn't have any type of professionalism about their attireThey started off getting all of our things out of storage and that took them hrs for a bd apartmentwe only lived about min down the street from the storage and instead of coming straight there they were lagging behindFinally they get there and there's one that's super friendlyAlmost too friendly to the point to when I walked in the house behind them after they were moving the table in the dining room when I walked in his had was inside of my personal bag on our counterI asked him what was he doing and he joked about it and said I thought you bought me something to eatI called the company *** answered and just told the head mover to talk to him and that was itby this time we are at four hoursI told *** I waned them out of my house they started moving carelessly with our belongings and thats when one of them dropped the TV on the truckThe head mover Cory said he told them to wrap it up and they didn't and that the other two were new to excuse them and that he would take care of the report of the deep scratch on the TVI followed up with *** about the claim and he asked me to send in pictures in which I did so and I heard nothing backI called them about a month later and *** said that usually they go by the pound which means only about $for my now broken TV to be replaced but they will honor $I told him but the Tv is worth at least $he argued with me on what the TV was worth and what they were going to settle onFinally I agreed, however I just wanted a statement that read what we agreed on and *** refused to give me this information in black and whiteI asked if there was anybody else that I could speak to he said yes the claims departmentI asked for the extor direct phone number for them he refused to give me the number and said he'll transfer meOf course the call went right back to him and I never heard from them till this day
The customer had steeo stairs with a narrow enterance therefore the movers had to unwrap the dresser since it could not fit into the door covered with blanketsUsually in this events we require the customer to sign that it is on his own responsibility as damage may occur which the formen forgot
to do and therefore we have taken the liability for the damage. We have dealt with the customer with the utmost respect and care, Went to her premises to pickup the damaged chair and have sent it to two carpenters who said it cannot be fixed to its original condition as it is made of wood topped with ceramic and therefore cannot be drilled or boltedThis was all explained to the customer numeros times. We even provided the customer a nice settlement way beyond our basic liability of cents per pound per article as The total weight of the chair and the dresser is lbs (Lbs X $0.60= $66.00) and we gave her a $compensation which she accepted and have signed a settlement form (attached in a PDF format) she will NOT have any claims to our company. I request that you cancel and erase this claim as it is legaly settled.
