Thank you for giving KHovnanian Homes an opportunity to respond to the ComplaintThis home was built in and the current Homeonwers are the 2nd Homeowners since The Homeowners requested service for a roof leak on 1/21/2016, and our service associate visited on 1/22/On 1/29/2016, Homeowner [redacted] was informed via [redacted] letter that the roof issue is not a structural defect and service for the issue was nonwarrantable and that she could contact [redacted] ( [redacted] ) to file a claim if she felt it was a construction defectOn 2/1/2016, [redacted] W [redacted] with KHovnanian received a text from [redacted] wanting to know what KHovnanian was doing about the roofThe Director of Homeowner Services for KHovnanian reviewed the request again and we contacted the Homeowner, explained that the roof was out of warranty and that we sent a letter stating that, as well as instruction on how to contact [redacted] in the event she wished to file a claim [redacted] has since been in contact with [redacted] regarding the roofKHovnanian stands behind thier original decision
