We replaced the water pump on Mrs. [redacted]'s car and to remove the water pump the motor mount on the engine had to be removed. We replaced the motor mount on the engine with a good used mount as the customer had asked. The problem with this motor mount is the other piece of the motor mount. The other piece is mounted to the frame of the car and is made out of thick rubber. They only made this style motor mount for a limited time. We could not find the motor mount anywhere in Paducah at the time. Parts stores had to special order them at the time and Mrs. [redacted] agreed that when we could find a good used motor mount we would install it for her at no charge to her. We finally found a good motor mount. We have and appointment on January 13th at 9 a.m. to have this motor mount replaced.
