Howbeit the customer was toldthat to extract his broken piece the cost would be between $20.00-$as an option for himWe onlyintended to help the customer since most businesses were closed at that time and he stated it was urgent to gethis vehicle fixedWe have a special product that we use called extractalloy that is expensive costing us $ 50.00a pound through our supplies without any price mark up and might be needed to extract the bolt if the “quick”manual method did not workAfter the bolt was extracted it was returned to the counter and the customer wasasked to pay the low end of the estimate of $ because it was not necessitated to use the extractalloyproductAt that time he began demanding that he would only pay $and was told by our employee that hedid have to pay the original $ as he was quotedThe customer became irate and the management that wasin our office directly above our reception area came down stairs to intervene and dissolve the situationThesituation escalated as the irate customer was told that his total cost was as we originally stated and that his offerof $ was not acceptedWe requested that he please leave our premise and/or pay his billHe wasbelligerent and loudOur business was disrupted as we attempted to continue to accept phone calls requestingour services but hearing over his commotion was difficultHe had stated that he was calling the police but hewould not step outside of our building, to where his son was now standing with his cell phone in plain view, todo so as we had requestedHe began stating that he was an armed forces veteran and a former wrestler (liftingup his shirt and patting his chest) and that it was not pleasant the things he saw and did while in the military.Things were escalating so we called the police and requested them to respond because we had a customer thatwould not leave our building as requested and was being disruptiveWe explained to the police that this wasover a menial monetary sum of $ but that we did not know what else to doAfter much more verbalexchange and many requests from us for him to leave and/or pay his bill he finally agree to use his debit cardand for us to charge him the $ We ran the transaction and called the police to tell them that the customerwas now outside of our building, had paid his bill, and had his part with the bolt extracted as he had requestedand that they did not need to respondMany hours later the PA State Police arrived at our location stating thecustomer had filed a complaint of our servicesWe explained how the event had unfolded and the policedetermined that there were no issues to be investigated
