Review: [redacted] said the parts for a dishwasher were in stock and will be arrive within 3 to 5 business days. I unwisely paid 349.90 by check for the parts. A week went by so I called him and his voice mail box was full. I emailed him and he responded that the parts are backordered. I replied asking him to check because that is contrary to what he told me when he took my check. He didn't respond after that for 2 weeks. I sent him 9 total emails. In the last email, I wrote that I would report him to the Revdex.com and state consumer protection agencies if he doesnt give me a refund. The next morning I got a call saying he has the parts. I asked for a refund as I had waited 3 weeks instead of 3-5 business days and I have been asking for a refund through email for a week! He refused. Frustrated, I asked for the parts since I paid for them. He agreed to drop off the parts but wanted 40 more dollars for sales tax and a delivery charge. Sales tax of 8.375 from 349.90 is 29.30. I refused to pay more. He refused to provide the parts he took payment for.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the parts of 349.90 dollars. I paid him but he failed to provide them.

Review: [redacted] from [redacted] Appliance came to our house on 7/** to diagnose a hot running refrigerator. He told my wife that it was a faulty evap switch. Said a couple of days he would have the part and would be back out to install. We paid him in full. Since that day we have called multiple times with the last call resulting in Wade hanging up on me without committing to a day to come finish the job. I have since sent 2 emails with no response and left 2 voice mails with the same results. I am afraid the only way to get the job done is by hiring someone else to do it and going after settling the bill in the courts.Desired Settlement: Either [redacted] appliance come finish the job in a timely manner or pay another repair company to finish the job.

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by [redacted] Appliance Expert regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I was charged a diagnostic service fee twice. [redacted] (Senior Technician) serviced my refrigerator. He was in my home for 1/2 hour. The description of work stated," the condensor fan blocked, adjusted waterline, and tested unit, unit is now cooling well". I was charged $200.00 after he verbalized the diagnostic fee. I am writing to the Revdex.com, because I do not want any other person to be scammed by Howard Appliance Expert LLC.Desired Settlement: Refund the service fee, because I was charged twice.

Review: My washer was in need of a repair so I called The Appliance Repairman company who contracts out Howard Appliance Expert LLC from NY. The technician showed, diagnosed the problem as needing two new drive belts and a pump/drain. After pre-paying for the parts ($308) I have not been able to get him to return to my home to actually fix the appliance. After three weeks, three no-shows, and several phone calls to the management company I have only received my service fee refund. My washer is still broken and I am out $308.Desired Settlement: I would like $308 returned to me ASAP

Review: Called service man was told I needed a new ice maker for my 3 yr. old G.E. Refrigerator. He returned 5 weeks later and installed the new one. It still did not work. Called and text many times with no response. Finally got him on the phone and told me he would charge another service call to come out and look at it. I had already paid $399.84.
