Review: My name is [redacted] and I am contacting you because one of your representatives called me today referring to an alleged debt with [redacted].

I explained I had no idea what she was referring to and could she provide me with someone’s full social. I explained that was not my social. She then began to tell me a letter was sent to my home at [redacted]. I explained I did not live at that address and please remove my name for the list and do not contact me again.

I am no attorney, however, I do my rights has a consumer and your representative violated various privacy and consumer laws. After research of [redacted], I have determined that they are an online payday loan company and are not allowed to legally operate in the state of Texas, therefore I am certain I would not have done business with them. Therefore, I am requesting you to please refrain from contacting me, my family or friends via, phone, mail or fax.

If [redacted] can determine this is a legitimate debt, they will need to contact me directly.

Review: Woman called from Howard and Associates ###-###-#### stating that they were collecting for Sonic Cash. I told them I didn't have any loans with them and they said they (sonic cash) has other loan companies as well. I asked what is the actual company I had the loan with, they just kept saying Sonic Cash. They originally wanted me to pay $1408 but they cut it down to $652 buy calling "the state". I made arrangements to pay but then did more research after the call. I called back and asked for a verification document mailed to my address. She said she could not mail it but she could send an email. I stated again I wanted a verification document sent. She claimed that they have mailed documentation to 2 addresses and once it left them it was between me and the mail service (I've not moved in 15 years) and they weren't sending another one. I told them I was not paying until I received one. She said good luck that she was going to call the state and have me processed for two felonies, and that they would see me in court. I looked up the NY Bar and the names on their website as "associates" are not listed there. I also told her not to call my friends and family again (They had called my Mother in law and dad stating I had two felonies on my name and social trying to find me) She said she didn't have to now cause I would be going to jail.
