I had a very short visit at the Howard Johnson hotel when I was greeted with roaches in the bathroom. Management refuse to give me a refund. One of the hotel employees told me that they had roaches down on the First floor but never on the second. As if that makes a difference. I have tried contacting them they will not refund nor let guest no what they are getting into. I checked in around 5:30p and up routed my whole family to another hotel around 11:00pm at night due to me meeting roaches in the bathroom.
This is Keyur A G.M. at property. First I would like to apologize to the guest if any inconvenience occurred during there stay. I would like to make some notes from our side regarding about this case as I discuss with my night desk clerk who was working that night. Guest Checked in to the Room around 5:30P:M. He stayed in the room until 11:30 PM without any complained. He called around 11:30 PM stating that he saw a roache in the bathroom, night front desk clerk went to his room right away after guest made complained to resolved the issue. Guest said that there was a roach in the bathroom floor so my desk clerk looked at every where in the bathroom but he didn't see any roach in the bathroom as well asked guest if he had taken any picture of it but guest said no he didn't have any proof, still desk clerk offered him another room to move. But guest denied to go to another room. So we did offer them new room to move after they complained.Also, I want to inform you regarding about the picture you sent me yesterday. The day of complained guest told night desk clerk there was roach in the bathroom floor and the picture you send me with roach it has background of beige color. Room bathroom floor has dark black tiles, so it seems like that picture wasn't taken at our property. We did sell that room over the weekend and before many times we never had roach complained from room

This statement is untrue the night worker stated that he already know that there where roaches in the hotel. The picture was a picture of the tub only. I would like my refund
