I do have a complaint on your manager at the Howard Johnson Inn at 8247 NE Sandy Blvd. My name is Tina Ellis I work for Secure Pacific we are the alarm system in you hotel there. Devin Lynn is the most rudest manager I have ever dealt with. I have called and emailed to get payment. He has literally custed me out. I also have email saying Quote" I am a piece of s[censored]" by email also I do have other email as well if you would like to see them. I also sent him a email asking to give the owner a copy of the contract that they signed. I don't even know if you have received this. Devin Lynn I feel so sorry for your company having a person like this in customer service. He is some one I would not want working for my company or send any one to his location. Review: We requested room 506 one year in advance. we have done this every year for thirty years. To our chagrin we got room 512 which has one sink and 506 has two. This fact made it difficult to use the room. We told the desk clerk of our predicament but offered no solution.

We requested a 1pm checkout the next day and I said we couldnt leave by 1pm.at which point they called the police and 4 deputies carrying guns and handyuffscame to our prepared to handcuff us and remove us from the hotel. We went to the front desk and a dialogue ensued wherein I asked who called the police and for what reason. [redacted] the head housekeeper said she was defending her co worker by calling them They told us to leave the property and not to return.

I asked for the owners cell and they would not give me his number.

We left the hotel so quickly that I left my cooler adapter there and had to spend 50 and alot of aggravation to get a new one as we were on the road many days.

They would not allow me to speak to the owner. I emailed the owner at the hotel and tried to phone them but I couldnt get through.

They sent us an email canceling our return reservation with the threat never to step into their property again.

They allege I spoke abusively but I did not. I know this owner [redacted] for years and we have always had a cordial relationship as we have had with other staff members.

We were humiliated threatened with another days rental for the one hour and treated like criminals.Desired Settlement: WE WANT A WRITTEN APOLOGY FROM [redacted], AND [redacted] AND THE OWNER [redacted] AND WYNDHAM.

We want 2 free nights at a wyndham hotel and the best room available good for two year. ALSO TO CHANGE THEIR POLICY FOR LATE CHECK OUT for long term customers TO 1:PM NO MATTER WHAT

Following our phone conversation of yesterday, I am e-mailing you to let you we will not write an apology letter to Mr. [redacted]. Following the sheriff's strong recommendation, we will not allow Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] to stay at our property ever again. Their violent and abusive behavior will not be tolerated. We are willing to help anyone in needs. We are willing to correct our mistakes when made. However, just like the sheriff said that type of public display of anger and threat cannot and should not be accepted at all! I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

What transpired at the front desk August 6th is over embellished by the staff of the hotel.We were given the wrong room and we complained and no one took steps to right that wrong doing.Management raerly knows their own room layouts and we make these reservations one year in advance for at least thiry years at the same time always.As a result we have always enjoyed a cordial relationship with the manager [redacted] who is not the owner.I would like to contact the owner in India to let them know of [redacted] behavior in this mnatter.We have ben a loyal customer and Mr [redacted] who was not present is taking the word of a discourteous and maligning staff instead of ours.BTw my wife [redacted] was not present at the incident and I dont see why she was evicted with me.She had nothing to do with the incident.Also Mr [redacted] has stated that we were offered another room with two sinks and this is not true.According to [redacted] the desk clerk on August 5th evening the hotel was full and no other rooms were available.I have to say this has happened before in the past where we wasted two hours of our time going from room to room trying to find a room that had everything working and not missing key items in the room. We saw at least 4 room s before we found 506 which was complete.All these rooms are not necessarily the same.Some are missing furniture and some have two sinks and some do not.The fifth floor only have microwaves.Also the non smoking rooms have had smokers in them and they stink of smoke.The argument management gives is that they were full the night of august 6th but there are ove 100 rooms inthis hotel..Guests do not arrive all at ounce and the housekeepers get paid by the room not by the hour.Why someone conceived this plot to evict us at this time is unknown to me. There is a plot I assure because none of staff behavior makes any sense.My behavior was that of a guest made angry by a discourteous desk clerk who would not give me Mr [redacted] cell phone number and wasa going to charge me an extra day for a hour late check out.A check out courtesy which I always receive without question.I have written to all government officials and will not desist in my quest for justice.It is not necessary for Mr [redacted] to say I am not allowed on the property as it is a hotel in very bad shape as no improvements are being made.All one has to do is look at the rate and the staff to know that it is not a good choice of a place to stay.Unfortunately Mr [redacted] is a weak manager where he has let his staff run the place and should have interceded in his loyal customers behalf and not cowered in a corner then come out like a lion with false information.He knows us better than that anyone in the place and thats why I ask Mr [redacted] to give us the tape and the name and address of the owners in India whom we know as well.Im sure that once the truth is out Mr [redacted] will be seeking employment elsewhere along with his untoward staff.In the end the staff and management is entrusted with the task of being courteous to their guests and to abide by the spirit of the law not the letter of the law.
