The estimate was $750 because the depth of the problem was unknown. Could have involved a jackhammer, etc. After 2.5 hours which included a 1 hour trip to the store, they were done. Problem was much easier to fix after all. That's a $140/hr labor rate factoring $50 for materials. When I asked what their normal labor rate was, Walt Jr. would not tell me. I didn't know the bill wasn't going to be based on a standard labor rate. Their ad is misleading. The work was good but I don't like their code of ethics.
