So, today was supposed to be our court date for Snowball, AKA “P2”, over his vicious maulingI met with the Assistant DA, *** ***, last week, and Mr*** informed me that he decided not to press charges against the owner of the dogs that attacked my dog “since the other dogs don’t have any other history of being vicious dogs…… and that he would hate to have them be caged or muzzled all the time”My response was, “well, at least that owner would still have their dogs”Unbelievable!
And now, the time has come that many of you have been waiting forWhile my family was going away to *** for Christmas this past December, we made arrangements for our two dogs, Bailey our yr old Collie, and P-our yr old Bischon Frise to be boarded from 12/20-12/locally at ANOTHER DOG DAY, located at Pleasant Hill Road, Scarborough, Maine ###-###-####The morning of December 21st while traveling to ***, a message was left on my cell phone voice mail at 8:AM, that “ Phad been involved in an accident this morning and that he’s at the emergency vet right now and to call them for details”I call the emergency vet, speak with the surgeon there who informs me that my boy was attacked by three dogs, he was in critical condition, and needed emergency surgery right awayYou all know the rest of those details, so I’ll fast forwardAfter multiple phone calls to the kennel, I finally am able to speak with the owner of the kennel, *** ***, who finally tells me a little more about the accident, but not a whole lot………that she drove my boy to THE *** *** *** *** (wonderful, amazing folks there), in her pajamasAfter asking her WHO the owners of the attack dogs is, she said, “do you really want to know who the owner is? They are owned by my employee “***”*** said, “***’s dogs have never done anything like this before, and won’t be allowed back here”IN MY OPINION, ANOTHER DOG DAY, and owner *** *** are responsible for the ultimate, demise of my dog through their negligence - the failure to use reasonable care and keep my boy safe under their watchAs stated on their business sign, they are a “Pet Care Facility”IN MY OPINION, they did NOT “CARE” for my boy, and, because of their “CARE”, my boy lost his lifeI am outraged and I am disgusted, that these people are allowed to get away with, IN MY OPINION, what they DID NOT DO to keep my boy safe while under their watch, and that our State governed legal system and officers of the court think it’s ok to turn and look the other way while something of this gruesome magnitude happensI do believe in Karma, and that one day, Karma will “BITE” these people, and my little Pwill get the justice that he deservesThank you all for your time
