Was continually billed for months after cancelling my policy Johnson refused to renew my auto insurance on Jan 1, I chose to cancel my entire policy with them including my tenant's insurance as I was moving to a new addressI was continually charged for tenant's insurance (at the address I no longer resided)The amount I was wrongfully charged for was $ [redacted] each month from January until JulyThe total was $ [redacted]

I have had insurance with Johnson's for years I recently received a letter in the mail stating that they will not be renewing my insurance due to a ticket that I got years ago I have renewed my insurance with them since getting that ticket but now all of a sudden they can't renew my insurance, doesn't make any sense at all! I will make sure to get the word out how ridiculous this company is!!

I’m writing to inform you of a situation I have with the above noted company I sold my home (at [redacted] **) on May and Johnson Insurance continues to charge me insurance on the home, even though they were advised more then two weeks prior to the closing date of the sale They are well aware I no longer live there or own the home My partner and I separated two years ago and she has since moved to BCShe did not respond to the company’s attempt to reach her and, therefore, they kept charging me money (without ever advising me they couldn’t reach her or that they would continue to charge me) When I called weeks later to confirm the insurance was cancelled and get the insurance details for my new home, they advised I would have to continue to pay until such time as she respondsAfter over an hour on the phone, I forwarded them a copy of the sale agreement, which had her signature, which they also said wasn’t good enoughNow they want to send a regist

We cancelled our vehicle insurance for vehicles while the company continued to bill us for an additional months through my bank account We had vehicles insured with this insurance companyWe sold one vehicle and called to cancel the insurance, the company continued to bill us for an additional monthsAnother vehicle we parked as we could not afford insurance so we called to cancel this vehicles coverage as well, they billed us for this vehicle an additional 2-monthsAfter months on the phone trying to sort this out and the company insisting it was my banks doing withdrawing the money, we were able to put a stop-payment through my bank for the vehicles we cancelled ( [redacted] )After the stop-payment was put in place the insurance company was able to raise the amount owing each month (by $***) to blindside my bank into allowing the money to be withdrawnEach month the amo

I have never been more frustrated with a company! I had coverage with Johnson for September 2017- June 2018. After my coverage ended in June, I had 2 additional payments taken out of my account. Each time I spoke with someone at this company, I was told something different. I was told I could pick up my refund at the office in Charlottetown and then I was told the refund comes from a different office and had to be mailed. I was told I would be called and was not. I was told the reason my insurance payments had not been cancelled was because the person that should have cancelled it was on vacation. I had to make several calls to receive the refund. After this experience, I did not want to deal with this company ever again. In September of this year, I was automatically enrolled in the Health Insurance program again, which I DID NOT WANT. I was automatically enrolled with this company for health insurance I received paper work to opt out of the insurance coverage weeks after starting my positionI filled out the paperwork the same day it was received and mailed it back to the company When I had a payment of $off my paycheck, I called to let them know I did not want the coverage and to reimburse the payment That was on the 4th of October I had another payment of $come off my next paycheckAgain, I called to say I did not want the coverage and to return the payment The person on the phone assured me the coverage was cancelled and I would not have another payment come off my November paycheck I called a few days before pay day to confirm I would not have another payment coming off my paycheck I was told the payments were processed up until December and I would continue to have health coverage deductions coming off my paycheck until December I have called repeatedly to ask the money be returned I was told weeks ago to submit my pay stubs to speed up the refund I called again today and was told they would email the Halifax office to ask them to release the refund I have never felt so much frustration toward a company I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will NEVER consider getting insurance through this company Giving them one star out of five is being generous I have never gotten an apology or an "I am sorry for the frustration this is causing you." Dealing with them has been a complete nightmare I cannot believe that a company can process or insurance payments before sending out the paperwork to opt out of coverage With the impending mail strike, I don't expect to see my refund any time soon
