We are sorry that our customer is not happy, we did perform an adequate repair for themUnfortunately this season we were hit with over service calls in a short period of timeOur priority was to complete repairs for homeowners asap, our billing and collections came secondWe are working
continuously on the billings but it takes time for this many service repairsThe homeowner stated that she needed the invoice urgently to apply to her taxes. But this repair was not completed in it was completed in 2017. None the less we intend to provide the homeowner with a detailed invoice including photos by Monday 4/10/ *** ***President

July 17th 2015
Customer called for an appointment for 7-30-15.
7-30-15 Customer cancelled
appointment. Wanted to meet 8-7-15
8-7-15 Customer was a no
show.
8-17-15 Measured roof for proposal.
8-18-15 I emailed roof
proposal.
10-12-15 Customer...

& emailed back to me the contract.
11-10-15 Customer called me
to tell me our general manager just gave her a $600.00 discount.
12-28-15 Customer called
& said that she wants to cancel the contract, because she had a handyman
fix her roof for $1,200.00.
12-29-15 Customer call the
office and told our secretary to go ahead and re-roof it ASAP because she
thought the handyman did not do a good job.
12-30-15 Hoyt Roofs went
ahead per her request to do the work.
January 1st 2016
Customer emailed me and said to postpone her request to do the work, because
she wanted to see if the handyman’s work would leak. But the roof was already
completed.
1-4-16 Customer emailed me
stating she didn’t want us to do the but would like to make payments. She
indicated that she was trying to get a refund from the handyman so she could
pay us.
1-8-16 We emailed an invoice
reflecting a $600.00 discount.
2-1-16 Customer allegedly
couldn’t find the invoice. So I emailed it again.
2-13-16 Customer called and
said there is a leak between the chimney & the skylight.
2-13-16 Hoyt Roofs sent our
supervisor to inspect only and found a couple of water stains on the ceiling.
When on the roof he noticed 5 cracks in the skylight that someone, not Hoyt
Roofs tried to patch it, not very well.
2-13-16 We quoted the
customer a price to replace the existing damaged skylight and she said that we
should pay for it.
Customer then stated that she
was going to call the Revdex.com and hire a lawyer.
2-22-16 We received a letter
from the Revdex.com.

1. Stating that I cancelled the order and one day later I rescheduled is not true at all. I was Talking to [redacted] the salesperson and as soon as I told him how much I paid the other company that did the work, the line got cutoff. Was not sure if he hang up on me to not waste his time or what. I tried calling him again and he would not answer.Had to call the office 5 minutes later to ensure that the message "Cancel this order" as I had another company do the work. Signed the contract in October/12/2015 and the company expect me to be their slave and wait till December/30/2015? For them to go and do the work without getting my permission and then to tell me a very wrong and untrue story is illegal and a full lie.  Why would I cancel with one person and call 5 min later to reschedule. This is truly unbelievable, they would not take accountability for their mistakes and just want to make money. Their general manager told me that they found few hours and because my job was very small they went ahead and do it without even notifying me. Every time I call the office or [redacted], I call from my home phone and ask them to always call my home as my cell does not get reception and they never even once called my home phone. I still have paper that I was supposed to sign to give them permission to work on my roof that I have not signed. Shame on them to spread lies in this manner and not take accountability for their mistakes. Why would I pay another company 1200 dollars and then turn around and ask Hoyt to rip it all up?  Shame on them to insult their customer's intelligence, humiliate their customers in this manner, and cause their customers that much stress and anxiety for them to make money. These are unacceptable lies and [redacted] even admitted later that when the secretary somehow left a message for him to go ahead with the order right after I cancelled the order he was baffled and could not believe it. He has my home number and my email and they would not call my home or email me to ensure there was no mistake?  Shame on them shame shame shame to just cause all these problems to their customer and not even admit for a minute any responsibility. 2. Had to pay because they bullied me and the general manager kept calling and bullied me a lot about ripping my roof and harming my building and my tenants and this was unacceptable.3.  Another lie is all the stains on the roof are from the new roof and have nothing to do with the skylight. I had to get another roofer to give me their opinion and they said this has nothing to do with the skylight and it is mainly the roof that was installed against my will by Hoyt. Their response is unacceptable and they have to take accountability for the leaking roof. I am trying to find out all my options as they know that legal action will cost me a lot of money that I do not have. Shame on this company they proved to be a very unprofessional and irresponsible company and they never deliver what they promised a non leaking roof.Their response is unacceptable and I consider it irresponsible and an insult to me as a customer. They need to fix the leaking roof as it is causing a lot of damage to my unit.
