Review: I had my rack and pinion replaced on my 2003 Honda Accord at this shop and during the process the mechanic damaged the clock spring in my car. He told me he would order the part and call me when he has it so he can fix the issue. Took the car in when he called. On receiving the car back I noticed I no longer had an airbag light and my fuel gauge was malfunctioning.I informed the mechanic of this issue and he denied he did anything to cause these issues. I took the car to a Honda service center and they advised someone had opened my dash and disabled my airbag light and damaged my fuel gauge in the process as well as the clock spring was never replaced. I called back the mechanic to advise him of what was found and he agreed to pay for the repairs. The dealer said they would try to fix the fuel gauge but it was not guaranteed if the whole thing was not replaced as well as replace the clock spring. The airbag light was never fixed because they did not want to reopen the dash cluster because they did not want to risk anymore damage. After the repairs and took the receipt to the mechanic and I explained to him that they replaced the clock spring and reversed what he did to the fuel gauge but not guaranteed and I showed him the part replacement they had recommended. He reimbursed me. I later found out after filling my gas tank that the repair to the fuel gauge did not work and that it actually needs the replacement part. Now the mechanic is refusing to pay for the additional repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like the mechanic to pay for any additional repairs to get my car fuel gauge working properly again.
