HP Security Recruitment & Training Reviews (3)

Review: I went for what I thought was a job. It was only a training school. I was asked for an eighty dollar fee. When I went back for the training, I was told I could not void my contract and that an additional fee of four hundred dollars for the training was required. I tried to explain I did not fully understand, nor did I have any type of income to give them the additional monies. I called Revdex.com and was told they had no record of this establishment. I believe I was misled, and would like back my eighty dollars.Desired Settlement: I want back my eighty dollars, and would like for Revdex.com or whatever agency (s) are responsible, to investigate, fine, and/or shut down this agency so others in my situation are not misled, like I was.

Review: Two days ago(6/**) I was given an interview for a Security Job position at that building but because I did not have 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course prior to applying to the Department of State for a Security Guard Registration Card, followed by a 16 Hour On-the-Job Training Course, they offered to give me the classes. The first charged me for the meeting (100.00 dollars) then charged me (400.00 dollars) for the classes and made me sign a contract. The contract stated that I would receive the Security Guard certificate but that it would not guarantee a position so in the end I was down 500 dollars and had no certificate and no job.Desired Settlement: Return of my 500 dollars for which they gave me a "receipt" for

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by HP Security Recruitment & Training regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: I found this agency via [redacted] offering security job positions on corporate buildings starting at 15 dollars to 20 dollars per hour. I called this num ###-###-#### and I was transferred to [redacted]. [redacted] told me to go the next day for an interview witch I agreed. This happened 10/**/2013. The next day I went for the interview with all the certifications needed for the job, my 8 hr certification, my 16 hr certification my security guard license and my fire guard certification. [redacted] clearly stated that with my certifications I could be payed from 15-18 dollars per hr so I accepted the offer. But she said that I had to take a homeland security class that would cost 225 dollars plus 80 dollars to reserve the seat for the class that would take 2 days and the next day I would be working on sight no problem. It explained to her that I was recently employed and I was going to put my two weeks notice on my recent job. By the way because of the amount of information I had I didn't finish in two days I finished in a week. After I got my homeland security certificate they told me to talk to [redacted]. He told me that he was gonna send me to the job placement the next day In told him to hold off for this starting week cuz I put my two weeks notice in my job and I wanted to finish the right way. So after my week was done I gave a call to [redacted] and he gave me an address to go to my job placement but it wasn't a job placement I went there to apply for work! So when I called him back for feed back or update for that manner he is brushing me off telling me to wait for them to call me. So now I'm unemployed and I'm out of 305 dollars... This was not the agreement we made I want justice. Today it's been a week since I have been unemployed in NYC good knows that a week unemployed in NYC is like a year.Desired Settlement: I want my 305 dollars back and I want some kind of formal investigation to this agency I don't want anybody going trough what I'm going trough right now
