Homeowner informed us of his concerns through an email, we replied that cracking concrete is common in colorado and didn't necessarily mean that something was done incorrectly.
We asked a question about his other concerns and he never replied...
and we never heard from him again until this complaint

HPS' response to the primary complaint of excessive cracking was that it was normal. HPS provided a flip response regarding the excessive cracking.
As per the third party inspection document, the cracking in the patio is excessive, there is settling, joints are per industry standards, and the patio will continue to deteriorate.

We have refunded the customer and consider this issue to be resolved

We settled on an amount that was less than cost to rework/replace: I will have to pay another $300 out of pocket to R/R HVAC unit and approximately $300 in fencing and other work. However, I feel the proposal from HPS was an adequate amount to settle this issue.
