March 31, 2016Dear Sir/Madam:We are in receipt of your correspondence concerning the above-referenced matterWe take this matter very seriously as this is the first complaint about our company ever sent to the Revdex.com during its twenty-three years of existenceHowever, a review of our records reveals that we have not performed plumbing work at this residence since and we do not believe that we are responsible for any issues that are the subject of the complaintIndeed, our records do not reflect that we performed any work on a bathroom renovation at the customer's house.By way of background, our company did submit a bid for a bathroom renovation at this customer's house in 2012, however, our company was not awarded the job and we never performed the bathroom renovationLater in 2012, after the bathroom renovation was completed, we were contacted by this customer to perform a minor service call that he described as a small leak caused by the improper installation of a shower drain by the other contractor hired by the customer to perform the bathroom renovationSubsequently, we repaired the shower drainWe were also able to confirm that the leak was, in fact, the result of the shower drain having been installed incorrectly by the other contractorThis was a very minor service call and prior to March of (over four years later), the customer had not complained about our company's work(It is worth noting that in and 2013, we were also hired to perform unrelated HVAC work, and not plumbing work, at the customer's house, however, we have not done any work for this customer since March of 2013).Consequently, our company is not responsible for the damages claimed by the customer as we did not install any plumbing work on the bathroom renovation and it has been over four years since we performed a minor service call to repair the prior contractor's defective work.Respectfully,David H., Owner

The issues raised in complaint ID # *** relate to work done in which were never brought to our attention until May By way of background, we installed a central A/C system for the customer on March 7, At the time our work was completed, the system was running properly.Four years
later, in March 2016, this customer called us on a Friday evening and left a message to return his call about unrelated work he needed performed in connection with a shower drainBefore we could return his call on Monday morning he left an angry voicemail on Saturday telling us he would no longer be calling us again and would use a new HVAC and Plumbing company to repair the shower drainFor some inexplicable reason, he contacted us in May 2017, after telling us he would not, and wanted us to work on a welding joint in connection with the A/C systemWe told the customer he should call another service company as he already informed us he did not want to use or work with us.We did not hear from the customer again but received the instant complaint raising the same issueIn the Complaint, however, he now claims, over four years later, that the welding joint work should be performed under a nonexistent warrantyTypically, in the industry, any warranty on something like this would be a year warrantyTherefore, we do not believe the customer's complaint has any meritHad he contacted us in a reasonable period of time, we may have addressed the issue and performed any needed repairsHowever, that is not what happened here and this complaint should not be permitted to have any effect on our Revdex.com rating.Thank you,David H

Subsequently, we repaired the shower drain. We were also able to confirm that the leak was, in fact, the result of the shower drain having been installed incorrectly by the other contractor.
