H&S Auto Wrecking

I have purchase a transmission for a 2006 elantra since September *** of 2019. The transmission was Faulty and they were notified. They told me they would give me a new transmission since I called on Oct *, 2019. However, every time I called they keep giving me the run around, it either the boss not here, or they have to wait for Johnny. They came telling me the transmission is coming or no one answer at all. I call on Oct *, 845am oct *** at 422pm, 423pm, 429pm, October *** at 9am, 941am and 214pm, Oct *** 1037am and 427pm, Oct *** , 0ct , oct , oct, oct *** and 0ct . This is 6 weeks

We purchased a motor from this company for a vehicle we were servicing. They sent us the wrong engine twice. The second time when we brought the engine back they gave us a 900 dollar credit and promised to get the right one from their CT warehouse. We called on 3/, 3/(2 times), 3/*, 3/, 3/, 3/, and 3/. Each time we were told Anthony would call us back he was out of the office or at lunch. He never called back. Tried to call today on 3:27 and the phone number is disconnected and they now have $900 of our money and no fulfilled promise of the motor.

We purchased an engine for 2007 Volvo s40 in July 2018. We paid cash and they stated if there was a problem they would refund us. Three weeks later we reported to them that the engine was no good. They told us cash would not be returned but another engine would be shipped to us . After several and many telephone calls nothing had been done. Since they do not have that engine we denand full refund of 750.00

I contacted business, was told to send a check for a fender. After multiple attempts to have said fender shipped, I gave up. Every call I made, was a run around (“Will get back to you”, “Need to talk to Johnny”), and so on.

I am not the only person scammed by H & S. There are other multiple google reviews reporting similar claims, as of today.

On April , 2018, Libson located a transmission on the Hollander EDEN exchange for a Chevrolet Cobalt, that H&S Auto Wrecking (hereafter H&S). We overnighted them payment and shipping materials. H&S cashed the check the next day, and proceeded to turn away the shipping company (*** Freight). After many repeated calls to H&S, *** was finally allowed to pick up a skid on April *** 2018 (BOL number ***). When we received the skid, we found that H&S had sent a transmission for a Chevrolet Aveo. We immediately contacted H&S, and were told that this would be resolved quickly; it was not. We even sent a demand letter on May , 2018; we then received a promise of a refund. Over the next 90 days, this not only has NOT been resolved, but Libson was promised refunds from employees such as 'Anthony', 'Joey', 'Paulie', and 'Johnny'. We do not know who is an actual employee - for example, on June ***, we were told that 'Johnny' no longer worked there, but when we called on 7/, and spoke to an 'Anthony', we were told to call and ask for 'Johnny'. As of 7//18, they are unwilling to resolve their mistake and make us whole. We have lost all faith in communicating with this business and have turned to this process for help with resolving this.
