Website is misleading regarding services offered based on zip code. For home services in 85750 Food and Organic Waste Pick Up is offered according to the website. When customer service was contacted, I was told that that service is not available in Arizona. The website misrepresents services offered.
When I received my bill from WM in September for the billing period 10/1 - 12/31, I decided to switch companies, cancelling the service from WM. I called them on 9/21 asking that my last day of service be 9/30 which was the last day in my current billing period. The person on the phone [redacted], assured me the service would be cancelled and since that was the last day I owed them nothing.
I received a bill from them on 10/29, including late fees. I just got off of a 20 minute conversation with the billing department. They kept insisting I pay something, even $5.00. Even though they clearly had mis-billed me. What is going on with this company? Do they bonus the people on the phone for collecting anything? At the end of the call he assured me the charges were cancelled. We shall see.
