we have had great experience with hsa warranty...will use them again...sometimes it takes the technician time to arrive but overall when we have called hsa they speed it up for us as well...our ac went out and needed compressor and freon...the tech from Fast Response was excellent..name was Oscar..then a bug bit the contacter weeks later and he was here again...super nice fella

Furnance Repair
I had a furnace shut down in the middle of winter in Ohio. I called the company that prior had maintained the unit. They sent out a technician within days and repaired my replaced a inducer motor.
Since I did not place the call with HSA originally, they would not reimbursed ANYTHING of my $924.00 invoice per Marlon. They would not give me any refund on my policy. And they had no supervisor over Marlon to discuss this issue with. I will NEVER recommend or use this warranty company again. I recommend you steer clear of them as well.

The Customer Service. Reps are in India and can’t understand them at all. Not one bit helpful. They don’t seem to know anything, including what company they work for!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY! Waiting over a week for someone to fix our central air. After numerous calls, and hours on the phone with this company, we are roasting in the heat. 1st approved vendor never even contacted us. 2nd vendor couldn’t fix the unit. We were told we could hire someone on our own and in our area and now that seems to have been a lie. This company also goes by American Home Shield as well as other names. Buyer beware. This company sucks.

Run! Poor service, slow service. Not worth the stall tactics and aggravation. Twenty minutes on hold per call. Can't locate your contract number. Special add-on authorization costs.
They must have well written procedures and scripts to stall you on your claim as long as they do. If you want anything repaired within 15 days .... good luck","neg-2

I been a HSA Customer for the last 10 years, they been okay in getting my money, but when I needed service from them they are busy assisting other customers and I have to stay on the phone for over an hour for someone to pick up and talk to me to file a complaint...
But it doesn't stop here. I called them on Saturday morning to report that my Gas Boiler is not working, they assigned me case number and told me someone will call you in 24 hours. I asked why 24 hours, this is an emergency I have no hot water, can some come now, they said No, plumber has 24 hours to response so I waited until the next day, on Sunday someone called me that they will come on Monday. (so far 2 days with no hot water)
On Monday a high school kid from "[redacted] PLUMBING HEATING HVAC" showed up with a bucket and towel, I said what is this?! He said I'm here to check the gas boiler, he came in he didn't know how to open up a basic Boiler which the door would just slide out, I had to show him how to open it!!
This High school kid had to call his boss [redacted] tell him what he is looking at, then he decided that main board is dead (with no tool or test) so he left, I called the boss at "[redacted] PLUMBING HEATING HVAC" he didn't' respond, I left few Voice mails. Finally he called me back later in afternoon and told me that he has to order part for it and it may take few days... he said if is coming from NH it might be 24 hours but if Is from CA it may take a week!!! (day 2 of not having hot water is over, entering days 3)
I called HSA and stayed on hold 2 hours, to tell them this is not acceptable, I was told that Technician has another 48 hours to file his report and get authorization.... I asked to talk to the supervisor, they transferred it me to someone's VM.
(Day 4) Finally long story short, I called another plumber that I knew he came in and fixed it in couple of hours and of course it wasn't the main board and it was something else.
I called [redacted] PLUMBING HEATING HVAC and left a VM for [redacted] the owner and told him that he is fired, he called me back few hours later and left me a VM that " I have a desk job and I don't know how real life works and I don't know what customer service is" wow I wish I could post his VM online.
Stay away from HSA home warranty as they are rip off and contractors that they use and discounted unexperienced, rude and un trustworthy, and they don't care about you when you need them, but they are really good in charging over $600 for their premium....

The sellers of our new home paid for a one year HSA Home Warranty. Shortly after moving in our air conditioner broke. HSA has said they will fix it, but after two weeks, have yet to even send anybody out. They keep changing what they say they will do, adding charges, and generally trying to screw us over. Each time we call they tell us "Well, you don't have to go through us to get this fixed". Basically, they seem to be hoping that we will just do it themselves so they don't have to. They are bullies and this is horrible business practice. The warranty is not worth the hassle.","neg-3

When calling the 800 number for a customer or technician service representative my standard wait time has been an hour and forty five minutes.","neg-4
