Our company works directly with businesses not individuals so when he had originally called he stated his company name: [redacted]...

and that he wanted to purchase safety jackets. The next question our customer service team asks is whether or not the company holds a resale license. This is when the price is given. Now when the customer came in he didn't have the resale form and wanted to purchase the jackets privately not on behalf of the company. So the price is definitely different. We offer quantity discounts on cases of not a a couple of pieces. So the price was given at $70 a piece and the credit card was provided by the customer. At this point he got a receipt with the total that he signed off on. If price was a problem it should have been discussed. He came in a week later to ask us to price match a lower price that he saw online. We manufacturer our product so we do not price match other brands. In order to help resolve the issue we offered to give him another jacket to compensate as a refund was not possible. We offered to give him a another jacket even though he clearly stated he knew when he purchased the jackets were $70 but later changed his mind. An attempt was made to resolve the issue with the customer, however, the customer only wanted us to do what he wanted and threatened to file a case.
Our doors are closed because we are not a retail warehouse. We open the main shutter door when deliveries are anticipated. Often our employees are out of the warehouse doing deliveries for other companies. Sometimes it does take a while to get to customer service, as we get heavy call volume during certain times of day.
