I am looking into this.  It appears that this is handled by the HUB Encino office, not Santa Barbara.  I will contact Encino to ask them to investigate and contact the client regarding their concerns.

Thanks. I understand the rejection.  I do want you to know that they didn't even put the complaint in with the correct HUB.  I'm trying to contact that HUB and the corporate office to have them provide a satisfactory resolution to the customer.   I'll keep you updated.

Review: My insurance was cancelled without any solid reasoning as to why on 12/29/14. I was told the insurance company changed their underwriting guidelines and will no longer write coverage for my business. I was given a few weeks advance notice of this cancellation by EMAIL. None of my questions were clearly answered afterwards about the cancellation. Being a business owner and operating at my location, I am required to have insurance. [redacted], the agent who was "helping" me, sent me an email telling me that I have to have insurance and told me she would sign me up with another company. I was advised that I was to receive a refund of $339.53 for my previous payment. She sent me incomplete documents telling me to sign the forms to bind my coverage for the new insurance. I signed the document (Policyholder disclosure notice of terrorism insurance coverage form) and returned it to her. Afterwards, she sent me an invoice for the new services. I responded with some concerns as to why the premium was higher than the last one I had. I was told that there are additional fees that they are charging me for the new year and was not explained what the fees were exactly for. I refused to pay being that it had been 2 months and I had still not received my refund for the previous policy that was cancelled. I sent multiple emails asking for the refund, and they were all ignored. I was told I would receive an explanation, and that never happened. I was also told I would be contacted by Pia's manager, that never happened as well. After persistent efforts in trying to find an explanation and receive my refund, I was given a new invoice and was asked to pay an additional amount. All my communication was with [redacted] via phone and email. I feel cheated and extremely unsatisfied. Moreover, I feel that I was taken advantage of and treated unfairly. Please help.Desired Settlement: A fair resolution would be to receive my refund that I was promised, and I want to make certain no other person has the horrible experience as I did with [redacted] and HUB INTERNATIONAL. They are dishonest, rude, and do not deserve the licensing they have.
