We have multiple entities and operating system involved in marketing to our customer so it is difficult to remove someone from our system but I assure you I will do everything possible to get Eric taken out of our database

This is in response to a complaint we received about a refund of an extended service contract. We were initially contacted by this customer by phone in...

December; I informed him there was a form that he needed to sign to cancel the warranty and when he told me he was unable to make it to the dealership to sign it I told him I would mail it out. I had assumed he had received it and sent it to the warranty company because I never heard anything back from him. I then received a letter from the Revdex.com in January stating a complaint had been filed; I promptly called the customer to get the issue resolved, I faxed him the cancellation form, he faxed it back and he has since been issued a refund check. Dealership uses bait and switch pricing!
9/2/15 While in Shelbyville decided to check Chevy truck inventory. Salesperson showed me a new 2500 Silverado with $8,000 discounted off $40,400 sticker. Told salesperson I'd have to trade a 1995 Corvette which was at my home in Greencastle In. (100 miles from Shelbyville). Salesperson wanted a price I'd be willing to pay with Corvette as a trade. My price was $22,500 with all discounts available which the salesperson took to sales manager. The salesperson came back saying manager said it was a good price. I thought this was odd because the only information given on the Corvette was year and mileage so I asked for the sales manager to come and tell me himself the price would be good. Manager stated that they would only be able to sell the Corvette with cash offer due to the age of the car. I told both manager and salesperson the distance I'd be driving and would do so at offered price. Agreed to have Corvette at dealership 9/4/15 if this deal would happen.
9/3/15 Was called by dealership to confirm I'd be at Shelbyville with Corvette on 9/4/15. I asked if price was still good and was told yes and that they were going to prepare truck that afternoon for my arrival on 9/4/15.
9/4/15 Arrived at dealership to find truck still on lot for sale and not prepared for delivery. Asked salesperson why truck had not been prepared for delivery and if the deal was still going to happen. Again was told that everything was ok. The same manager I talked to 9/2/15 test drove Corvette. After a long wait salesperson came back with a $26,400 price difference nearly $4,000 more then price which got me to return to dealership and asked if I could increase my offer. I increased offer to $23,000. At this time another younger sales manager came out and informed me that only he could set prices on vehicles and if he'd been there on 9/2/15 he would not have said the my original offer was good.
The Corvette is in great shape and nothing was said other then they were giving me car auction price because the age of the vehicle. They should have known this on 9/2/15 and the whole thing would have ended that day with a thank you for your time. I wasted 5 hours of my time and a 200 mile round trip on a deal they knew from the start wasn't going to happen at offered purchase price.
I left 2 messages at Brad Hubler's office for a return call which I never received. Again if they had stated 9/2/15 the price wasn't good this complaint wouldn't have been necessary .

[redacted] WELL IT DIDN'T HAPPEN LIKE HE JOSH SAID. HE NEVER TOLD ME BACK IN DEC. THAT I HAD TO FILL OUT ANY PAPER WORK AND RETURN IT. I FOUND THIS OUT WHEN I CALLED HIOM AND ASKED WHERE MY CHECK WAS. SO IN MY OPINION HE DIDN'T PROPERLY DO HIS JOB HE LEFT OUT DETAILS THAT HE CLAIMS OTHER WISE. I HAVE RECEIVED MY CHECK BUT ONLY DUE TO PUTTING PRESSURE ON HIM THRU Revdex.com COMPLAINING. DUE TO THIS HUBLER I WILL NO LONGER DO ANY OF MY BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE FROM THE SHELBYVILLE OUTLET. THIS GUY WAS LAZY AND DIDN'T PERFORM HIS JOB WELL!!!!
