We were in escrow on a California house within a gated community which has an HOAState law requires that the seller supply the HOA docs for buyer's review After a month in escrow, the seller was trying to force us to close even though the seller had not delivered the HOA docs for buyers review, including the HOA demandAfter another week of complaining, the Seller's rep said that this was taking too long and we needed to close with or with out the HOA docsFunny because the escrow company can't even create an estimated closing statement without the HOA dues info After another couple days of back and forth emails, the seller unilaterally canceled our dealMy buyer was devastated It gets worse....the seller sent us the cancellation for the buyer to sign so my buyer can get their deposit back The buyer signed it immediately and sent it back It has been over a week now and we still have not received the seller signed cancellation and escrow will not release my buyers deposit without it This is one shady company

Altisource was the closing agent for the HUBZU property that I bought on Autumnwood Dr in Cochranton It is unfortunate that dispite over a dozen emails that they still haven't reimbursed me for the unpaid sewer bill of $for the period that they were responsible for the place They also forced my closing agent to rewrite the deed no less than five times, after they repeatedly edited it Instead, I felt like they would simply ignore the issues and try to bully the buyers into submission I would rank using them again between getting a protology exam and requesting an audited by the IRS NEVER EVER AGAIN will I use HUBZU or AltiSource Emails are available for anyone who request them.....you can see the broken promises over and over again

On an auction I had been looking at for a while that kept on being resubmittedI believed I had some time to set up my plan on renovations, financing etcI checked the hubzu website for an update on the property- and what was once listed as "highest bid" aka opening bid $41,had dropped to $38,with one bidder listedI looked and saw when it was placed which was two days prior to me checking on itI got nervous that I might loose the property- and I was suspicious that the price droppedSo I talked to two online chat people, one of them was quite rude to me and only gave me a link to the FAQ and then ended the chatThe second person I chatted with was much nicerI basically asked to confirm that there was an active bid on the propertyBoth the Chat people stated yes that there was an active bidWell the time for bidding ended and I decided I would put in a backup bid in case the sale fell throughThen MAGICALLY I was the highest bidder- and the only bidder on a new bidding time frame of daysI called customer service to let them know I think there was 1.) Something wrong/ fishy with the way this worked and 2.) What would make it more clear to a bidder to keep this frustration from happening again This on the phone customer service person- kept giving me the same answer, never in different ways and it always never answered my questionOf Where did this previous bid by apparently another person go? And why wasn't I notified that this was recycled back into the bidding timeline of days! They then told me that the previous bidder withdrew their bidIf I had known that- I would have waited to bid and not have felt pressured into placing a bidIt is only fair to the other potential bidders to know if a bid has been withdrawnThe way they have this set up is unfair to potential biddersA bidder should get to know immediately after an auction has closed if it is being recycled back into the bidding timelineAnd if a bid is withdrawn- this would allow other bidders to be able to place a lower bid than they normally would have bid or the same bid as the previous bidder This experience has given me the impression that they are not being transparent with potential bidders

hi first of all if your dream is to buy house like me don't even go near Hubzu AKA Altisource , they are highly skilled in turning your dream into very frustrating experience, I am telling because I made the mistake of buying home in new jersey from HubzuFirst of all the people in Altisource are rude and they don't know anything if you ask them, they will forward the email to other office people and CC to you .The closing process with Altisource was so not at all pleasing , they said in the start, mortgage clearance need to be sent to them hour before closing and lender did it days before, then you can't believe, the lady at Altisource said it was working hours. We closed on 20th nov , till today ( after contacting them several times) they have not sent the Deed for recording and cause of that I can't get permit to install heating system so I am still live in rental

On an auction I had been looking at for a while that kept on being resubmitted. I believed I had some time to set up my plan on renovations, financing etc. I checked the hubzu website for an update on the property- and what was once listed as "highest bid" aka opening bid $41,000 had dropped to $38,000 with one bidder listed. I looked and saw when it was placed which was two days prior to me checking on it. I got nervous that I might loose the property- and I was suspicious that the price dropped. So I talked to two online chat people, one of them was quite rude to me and only gave me a link to the FAQ and then ended the chat. The second person I chatted with was much nicer. I basically asked to confirm that there was an active bid on the property. Both the Chat people stated yes that there was an active bid. Well the time for bidding ended and I decided I would put in a backup bid in case the sale fell through. Then MAGICALLY I was the highest bidder- and the only bidder on a new bidding time frame of 6 days. I called customer service to let them know I think there was 1.) Something wrong/ fishy with the way this worked and 2.) What would make it more clear to a bidder to keep this frustration from happening again.

This on the phone customer service person- kept giving me the same answer, never in different ways and it always never answered my question. Of Where did this previous bid by apparently another person go? And why wasn't I notified that this was recycled back into the bidding timeline of 6 days! They then told me that the previous bidder withdrew their bid. If I had known that- I would have waited to bid and not have felt pressured into placing a bid. It is only fair to the other potential bidders to know if a bid has been withdrawn. The way they have this set up is unfair to potential bidders. A bidder should get to know immediately after an auction has closed if it is being recycled back into the bidding timeline. And if a bid is withdrawn- this would allow other bidders to be able to place a lower bid than they normally would have bid or the same bid as the previous bidder.

This experience has given me the impression that they are not being transparent with potential bidders.

We were in escrow on a California house within a gated community which has an HOA. State law requires that the seller supply the HOA docs for buyer's review. After a month in escrow, the seller was trying to force us to close even though the seller had not delivered the HOA docs for buyers review, including the HOA demand. After another week of complaining, the Seller's rep said that this was taking too long and we needed to close with or with out the HOA docs. Funny because the escrow company can't even create an estimated closing statement without the HOA dues info.

After another couple days of back and forth emails, the seller unilaterally canceled our deal. My buyer was devastated.

It gets worse....the seller sent us the cancellation for the buyer to sign so my buyer can get their deposit back. The buyer signed it immediately and sent it back. It has been over a week now and we still have not received the seller signed cancellation and escrow will not release my buyers deposit without it. This is one shady company.
